Trixilim, Thank you so much. I'm pleased you enjoyed it. This is one of our early experiments in outdoor videotaping, not one of our best efforts, but a great song!
Trixilim, not sure what you're asking. The Victrola dates from about 1921 IIRC if that's what you mean. If you mean when we made to clip-it was in the summer of '07. Thanks for your interest.
Trixilim, My pleasure. I'm glad you enjoyed the clips, thanks for your interest! This is a portable mahogany cased Victrola known as a VV-50, VV stands for Victor Victrola.
This was #1 in July of 1922. Now added to that year in my series of music playlists for each of the past 100 years. Each will play for over an hour soon, but it's a work in progress. You can escape back to any year you wish.
Thanks to fb for this clever setting - just as it might have been long ago ! !
How clever of you to share the sight of the record being played on a contemporary (I suppose) HMV phonographas well as the sound!

You're welcome!
I'm just curious about the time this set (where the record is played)is from, exactly.
Anyway, Paul Whiteman is one of my faves.
