Yeah, just checked out the vid, thanks. But in a 30 minute speech about new energy winning techniques, this one sentence probably was just a bad expression, a little mistake on gates's side. After all, the rest sounded pretty exciting. No more need to steal oil from foreign countries.

I think he pobably wrote it first, and planned carefully what he was going to say. It was after going on about global warming and how carbon dioxide is so bad it needs to be reduced to ZERO production!

He was saying that too much population is one of the causes, so needs to be lowered. Clearly for him a "good job" on vaccines and healthcare means they will kill and sterilise far more people.

Or did he mean to say that we need to do a really BAD JOB on these things?

I have to admit, just mentioning vaccines when talking about lowering the population was weird. That's why i thought he probably made a mistake or at least is misunderstood. After all, he's just a computer guy. I've rejected the flu vaccine, but i've seen people die from the disease, and almost no side effects of the vaccine... who knows.
