1970s 80s were brilliant times to go to watch hot rod world final . was a 2 day event camping in the woods meet n talk to the drivers. huge turn out of cars . it was England v Scotland in the STOCK SALOONS keith jarman, bob jones. robert bruce ,eddie auldous , conrad self . geoff morris , eddie george. dean mc`wood brian sayers with many more top drivers it was entertainment on the track

i haven't seen that in years pure brilliance!! has anyone got any footage from 1987 final i was working for george then and it would be good to see that, i don't think norman woolsey was to happy with mick(the pig) collard! PLEASE!!
Awesome ovalracing1, that is how real Hot Rod & Stock Car racing was when they got big crowds, leave the cars in the middle of the track let the other drivers get round them, that would also keep the costs down!!
