@MrFrankg209 Yes, that is Mike Norris one of Chuck’s sons and the guy next to him is Jay Depland. He is a private pilot who flies Chuck round and has been in several of Chuck's movies. Thank you.

That would be Richard Norton. He was the 'enforcer ' in the movie the Octagon. He is a very nice guy.

In the picture of the five guy's with barry in the middle who is the guy on the left of chuck.I've seen him in chucks old movies and i think jackie chans too. It's about 1 min in just quriouse thanks

Yes, I know. Don and I are old friends - we go back about 25 years. He and Chuck Norris are the nicest guys in the world and I mean that. They are just good people. He asked me to be in another movie but I did not want to go to Thailand.

Yea, Don would beath Van Damme to death in a real fight. Trust me.. Van Damme is about 5' 8" tall and Don is 6' 1" tall. Chuck and Don are two of the nicest guys I have ever met. They are just "guys" - very talanted guys, but they are very down to earth. Don and I lived in Beverly Hills Califorina in the same apt building for a few years. We were trying to get into the movies. He did - and I was in one, but I did not like that crowd so I went back to Florida.

Id never heard of him...but just checked him out and it would appear that 'yes, he was abit tough'. Haha...70odd wins in 80 fights or something like that. Must have been an honour for you getting a roundhouse to the head from him. My dad was a big chuck norris fan, and segal...my boyhood martial arts hero was Van Damme. Looking back now he maybe wasnt as great as some of the other guys, made some good action films tho.

Ha ha - that "guy" was Don The Dragon Wilson, the greatest kickboxer of all time and an old and dear friend of mine. The picture with Chuck was taken at his house. I stay in LA for a few weeks to do an article on him for Offical karate Mag (I use to write for them). Chuck and Don are great guys and so is Joe Lewis the World Heavyweight champ I was on the cover of Offical Karate mag with him. Yea, I had a lot fun years ago...

Thanks. That is great - that is my rank too. I cannot do Karate anymore as I have arthritis (had both hips replaced) and have degenerative disc disease in my back. That is the meaning of the joke at the end of the video saying that this is how my life always ends up – me getting my head knocked off. Hehe. Just a joke, I am very happy and just thankful that I got to meet all the cool people and play when I was young and healthy.

I am proud to say this was my Karate teacher,Mr.Barry Harrell .I am one of his many Black Belts.I miss the old days many push-up,sit-ups,jumping jacks and kicksand kata all night until about 8:30 ...then the fun started fighting,I have beat his fist up a many a night with my face.

Thank you, yes I was lucky. I have known Don since the early 80's. Don, Chuck and Joe Lewis are all great guys. I may be doing another movie with Don in the future soon - we have been barring around some ideas. I think he just likes to kill me in the movies.

Thank you - and I agree, that is my favorite picture too ha ha. That was taken at my karate school back in the 80's. Don recommended me for a job writing for Official Karate Magazine and that lead to my getting to meet Chuck Norris and many other karate greats. He is a great guy - down to earth and after all of his success, he has not changed a bit. Same old Don the Dragon - ageless. Chuck Norris is on great guy too by the way. The stories I could tell about them both - are all good.

Mr. Harrell, thank you for sharing such a rare piece that tell us the history. I especially like the photo in which you deliver the flying side kick against Mr. Wilson. In fact, Mr. Wilson sent the photo which might have been taken around the same time to a Japanese MA magazine, which I have to this day.
