@sailorjason ls9 will only make 600+whp with a Eaton four-lobe supercharger.... ls1 weighs more then a single turbo 13b... the 13b on single weighs in at ~300ib... the v8 does not maintain the 50/50 weight just because of how it operates... the 13b has a lower CoG and the fact that it goes in circles which keeps its 50/50 weight... a fd on single turbo will last 150k-200k as of the ls1 with all the extra crap it needs to keep up... the 13b can do 500whp+ easy on just a turbo swap...

My DSM runs on BF Goodrich T/A KDs and I have ripped off mid 10s on pump gas. 9s on race gas:)

Sorry I dont have my accents down. And as far as RX7s in the US, I wouldn't know. I stick to DSMs. All I was trying to say is that a 9 second car on street tires is nothing unheard of, and most certainly not limited to Japan.

Cause many ppl out there only care about how big the turbo is....
And don't realise that bigger the turbo bigger the lag, more air pressure that needs to be run through it...

Yeah it seems like anyone around my age(24) and younger thinks fast and furious is a car bible and that everything in it is fact. Luckily i didnt really get that into it as even the first one is filled with so much BS. "NEW MOTEC EXHAUST". Fuck i hate those movies that have made ppl dumber.

I think thats a harsh call...anyone that calls themself a car enthusiast would kno that F&F is BS....
And theres also the minority that think anything japanese or with a turbo is rice....but these ppl are ignorant...let them think what they want cause at the end of the day we kno better
