I think it would be hard to fit Pneumatic's to my design because of the design. However you may be able to overcome these dificulties, as to a comercial prospect, we had a idea some years ago of a pneumatric yoke for cattle but it was too expensive for the market place to sell, so cost is a big factor as well as design
Hi Ibanez the second part of your message I can't see not that great on here.
sounds a good idea of yours, only thingh is you would need to ensure the correct pressure is maintained, have you seen the device by Polden Vale or WM Iornworks as those types of crate would suit better to your idea I think esp the latter device.
could help me by giving me some tips (pun intended). For example, is there any problems with it, how you think it could be improved, and if automation would suit a large scale farm. Also if you have any ideas as to how pneumatic automation could be incorporated into the design.
Hi, I'm an A-Level student and am currently studying technology in Northern Ireland. Im looking for possible projects to use for my final cousework outcome and I came across this video. My father owns a small farm and has a mechanism similar to the one shown in this video (although not as smooth working as yours). Im looking for ways to automate it using pneumatic cylinders (probably not powerful enough in real life, but it's part of the specification), and was hoping that you ...(contintinued)
due to a serious road accident and injuries sustained, i thought of some device for turning the sheep which was basically two hoops rotating on guides, imagine my surprise to find yours with basically the same idea. do you provide plans for your device?

Hi MrBerach I sell my turnover via IAE you can ask at your local Farm Suppler who will give you a price if your interested in buying one.
Other sheep turnover devices are sold via Ritchie, Bateman's, Polden Vale & WM Iornwork's as well. my plans are not for sale

how much do you sell the crate or plans for
MrBeracah 1 year ago
Hi MrBeracah sorry to hear you had an accident, I have a patent on my turnover and plans can be purchased for a fee from the Patent Office.
as you can imagine any similar devices are closely monitored by myself to ensure they don't enfringe my patent.
Regards
Steve

Had to have a lot of parts to suit all sizes & breeds once set up for yours it's easy

Looks great. But a lot of moving parts in there. Good luck with it though. It has to be easier than catching, flipping and cutting.
