I'm doing your tutorial since a few days, and i'm wondering why i got sooo much blur when I export my animation. Hope that you'll answer. and thank for the tuto by the way.

You have high compression.. it lowers quality but keeps small file size..

What I do to get HD quality and small file size is keep the compression at NOTHING so it keeps it at max quality but then the videos are like 5 GB for like 2 minutes.. So I use anyvideoconverter to RECONVERT it to AVI with same RESOLUTION and MAX bitrate and same FRAME RATE and then I change 5 GB to like 70 MB.

Hope this helps you and who ever else wants HIGH QUALITY AVI animation.

Thanks but I have a question. When you were animating the dinosaur thing, how do you make the shape look s perfect. What I mean is you were using the redraw every frame method and every time I try that, my character looks all deformed through each frame and not look as it started on the first frame. Do you have any tips or suggestions of how to really memorize your character and get a good looking feel and shape? Please reply and help.

And practice you drawing, draw a character 100 times till you get over it, and with time you just will draw a character and know it from every way he could look.

Thanks for the video. So far in my exhaustive search for instruction videos, your's was the best at being comprehensive. Not the best quality, but much better than the others that had good quality, but no real insight as to how the animation was done.

Cheers for that, I've been using anime studios. So I essentialy have to reprogram my brain to using Toon Boom.

And paying £20 per tutorial seems a bit steep.

What I struggled with was making new frames and changing the picture without changing the whole thing. To other people who struggles with this: Press the "s" key on your keyboard, then you make a new frame. My result will hopefully be uploaded soon. Please make another tutorial!

thank you man, nice tutorials, i needed a quick tour on this software :) Anyway, I don´t see much difference with Flash.. mm. I also animate frame by frama jaja but you know doing it with tween makes you work faster, you just need to practice a lot to get the correct movements you want, easing, etc. I´m stil doing it manually though jaja I think it makes the animation lookmore detailed an ... well, manual. (?)
