  • @pinchegus77 has horns

  • FROM WHERE THEY FALL!!!!!

  • What a great song !!

  • yea that is it

  • Hello metalheads.

Instead of a Metal rebellion i propose a new plan

    1. Don't bash other metal artists, we must unite! We cant fight against hiphop music if we aren't even together

    2. Watch more and more metal videos to get it to the top of the youtube vid list

If you like this idea, thumb it up JUST so people can see it, and also spread it around if you like this idea

Lets show that metal kicks ass!

Copy this text in every Metalvideo you watch and we´re getting the power

  • i know this melodie..

  • @TheMetaller43 queen of winter throned

  • @hansbananendans and Spattered in Faeces :3

  • Vix

  • very beautifull this !

  • i couldnt help but think of lugosi in the intro dialogue. kind of made me cringe in comparison to him

  • brilliant lyrics. very rich in imagery, but it doesn't give you the sense that he is trying too hard. its just natural. AND FROZEN STARS...THAT GILD THE FOREST...FLOOOOOOOR

  • To be honest, did not know they have been around THAT long

  • @TheGreatAbaddon They've been around since 91

  • Wow first time hearing this song and I absoulutly love it, it actually reminds me of moonspell's Wolfheart albumn

I understand we are beautiful creatures but you got to understand its just f'in freezin out here so i would like to put in a request that your dreams consist of sunny beaches, all the Alpo we can stand to eat, and many sexy bitches to screw."

    - The Wolves

  • @jugganinja0 wtf dude take a polar bear to havai and give her many biches to screw dont get mad if the bear cwe insteed of screw.

  • @jugganinja0 Man, you have to get the meaning of the song, and then you'll be half way there.

  • May dreams be brought, that I might reach!

  • Hail!!

  • This was the good old Cradle days, they lasted till after Midian. than it went downhill

  • sounds like bloody tears (castlevania)

  • yum yum bela lagosi

  • @devey28 - yes, his portrait of Dracula will never end... and they couldn't have picked a better quote for this song, could they now : )

  • beautiful

  • i love the songs where he just like talks it it makes it sound so evil and dark

  • queen of the winter throned bad version

  • lol, they copied the spoken part from Dracula...thou it is true, luv the houwlings of wolves

  • Spattered In Faeces is on YouTube, and is supposedly from Goetia (although its origin is debated). I personally think it's just a demo track from one of their countless demos, as Goetia was completely wiped.

Dani mentioned that Goetia contained a song called "Spattered In Faeces", so I think someone just found a demo of theirs and claimed it to be that song. Strange that no others were found, right?? Hmm..

  • I am the uploader of it. Before the stuff was wiped, demo tapes were sent out to several friends of the band etc. I came into possession of a version of the song (but not directly from the band, mind you).

  • isnt this a shortened verson of queen of winter throned

  • not exactly, queen of winter throned evolved from this (and is about 8 minutes longer!), but this was made first. And before this was Spattered In Faeces which has some similar riffs, which was recorded for the Goetia album, which never came into fruition. You can find that song on YouTube though, it's quite good!

  • No, Queen of Winter, Throned is the evolution of this song.

  • probably my favorite song by Cradle of Filth.

  • Dani was only 17 or 18 at the time.

  • @claretrivers your stupid. dani was 18 when he MADE the band in 91. he was 20 when TPOEMF came out, since it came out before his bday in 94. and 20 when this album was recorded.

  • best fucking song ever! Should be longer though!

  • Yes, the opening line is taken from Bram Stoker's Dracula. im reading it right now :) its what Dracula says to Jonathan Harker, describing the baying wolves outside the castle

  • What an amazing book! I got chills when i read that line lol

  • Does anyone know how to play the intro on keyboard? I assume you need to have it set on "crystal" but I can't find any of the notes (I'm a begginer...)

  • Darren White is on vocals here

    former Anathema vocalist

  • Idiot. This is Dani Filth doing the lead vocals. Darren white did supporting vocals

  • This is ALL Darren White in this song, he did supporting for some other song on principle (cannot remember which). Just curious though, where the fuck do you hear supporting vocals in this song?

  • It doesn't sound like Dani at all man.

  • Well I searched again back when I made the comment and realized that I was indeed wrong. But my reasoning for it was:

Dani's voice is very versatile, and has changed immensly since the old days.

  • thats true, but, this is a pretty old song. even though, its all good.

  • Right. This IS Darren White, not Dani Filth. Listen to some early Anathema (for which Darren was vocalist) and it'll become blindingly obvious.

I thought Darren may have also lent his voice to the spoken parts of Summer Dying Fast, because it doesn't really sound like Dani

  • thanks for sharing, I love anathema. I always thought it was dani even though it doesnt sound like him

  • yeah he is in more track from this album

  • I have a feeling that he did quite a lot of the spoken-word parts on this album ... if you listen to the "I watch the storm approaching ..." monologue on Summer Dying Fast, that sounds a bit like him too (well, doesn't sound like Dani at least!)

  • @ska2808 it is darren from anathema in this track..

  • @robalsager ... Yes, that's what I pointed out ...

  • @ska2808 aahh right cool, only saw a bit of the convo

  • the most Nostalgic Majestic song theyve ever made.. should be longer

  • This song is some kind of replacement for Spattered in Faeces, the very old shit from Goetia, which was supposed to be gone but anyway, it survived and very low amount of people have any idea about existence of it. Roadruner would surely screw me for uploading it sooner or later.

  • What I just read told me that you own Goetia, which I believe is impossible. But in the extremely microscopic chance that you do have part of it other than Spattered in Faeces, I dare you to upload it. It could change Cradle of Filth forever.

  • no no I was talking about the song, Spattered in faeces, not goetia. And actually I didnt recognize that they made this song from the keyboard part in Spattered in faeces. I didnt listen to it that much to find it out immediately, I found it out, meh... 1 week ago . Well it pretty surprised me. And about Roadrunner... many, many of old cof videos were deleted by them so I don't belive their demos will remain uploaded here forever.

  • I have all of the mp3's except for 3 of the songs from the Marquee show that TorturedShallowGrave uploaded. The only one I have is The Raping of Faith.

  • despite being great this song is so underrated!!!

  • Just A Random Question Would People Like To See More From C.O.F's 1994 Album if yes then tell me what song and i will get it on you tube

    Forever cradle shall live \m/

  • do you have any live songs from back then?

  • i will see what i can do any other requests welcome

  • yes.

  • @SatanicusEvictus DUUUUUUUDE, do u have any live versions of Bathory aria or Beneath the howling stars, they rock !

  • All the songs

  • Yes please, I love the old shit!!!

  • @SatanicusEvictus they died pretty hard at bloodstock damn pussies. One min im moshing away and get knocked to the floor and its like i was knocked into a dreamworld as i stood up and saw the stage was empty and the music had stopped 40 odd mins early.Man Blind Guardian should have headlined :( Shame as well as it was Cradles best performance id seen in the 6 or so times i seen them, time before then they were upstaged by Hanzel und gretyl the supporting act.OUCH

  • i so love this one, dani is my hero. cradle of filth in general.

this song relaxes me for some reason, i can hear it over and over and not get tired of it..

    :D <3

    i love ittttttttt!!!

  • "Ah listen to them the children of the night, what sweet music they make" I'm pretty sure thats an anne rice quote.

  • Nope. Dracula.

  • Is the entire song taken from Dracula?

  • Not sure. Volkh is a character in Slavic mythology, as it happens, a magician who could shapeshift into a wolf, or something like that.

  • I believe was Bram Stoker's Dracula.

  • Nope, just Dracula. I THINK it was in the book, although I could be wrong, it's been a while since I read it, but it's definitely in most film adaptations (Lugosi and Oldman)

  • YEs , it is from Dracula. It is amazing how Dani Filth knows so much mythology and literature.

  • it is mentioned in universal pictures Dracula from the 1930's

  • Wow, Didn't know it. Thank you :)

  • well i didnt know if you were taking about the book from the 1800's or the original film. no need for sarcasm...

but all the same ay! glad to talk to you mate :)!! i enjoyed!! :D

    funny cunt.

  • I wasn't sarcastic :). Oh I wish I were a cunt. I could touch myself all day and give no fuck about men.

  • cool

  • great vid. this should totally have more views

  • got my comp on search looking threw all hard drives for it like the song after i saw the 1994 live vid

  • I make love on the 1994 live one :X

  • The only bad thing that this song has is that it has an end

  • Been listening to this song a lot lately. It makes me wish that they would play it live. I don't see why Dani doesn't like any of the stuff from Principle.

  • YEAAAAAAAAAAAAAH !!!

  • this song will never leave my heart as their greatest song of all time...

just wish they could play this sone ONE more time for all of us...

    ='[

  • Yea...

  • Lol I see xfunereal in every COF vid haha. We are both cradle fags I'd say lol

  • Add me on the list :))

  • Venefic! You uploaded Funereal! I got my name from that song... I chose it because it was the only Cradle song I had never heard. But the song just kind of ends in the middle of the solo....

  • @JordanandCompany Yeaah.

  • Beautiful song.

  • Too bad they left this beautiful music and supernal ideology.

  • one of my favs.

  • Love the coldness. Cradle knew how to fit synthesizing well into metal. Oh, and listen to Queen of Winter, Throned. That's the song that evolved out of this.

  • Only if it lasted longer...Kickass song

  • this video makes me wanna live in scandanavia

  • whenever i hear this song it calms me down

definately one of cradles best works

    despite its length

  • I was inspired by Cradle after i heard this song.. it has a meaning and an amazing theme...

  • I really liked it
