  • I wish I was this good but I'm a 3D Modeller, not an artist :[ I recently bought a tablet, 90% of my time is going to be spent practicing to get this good. =]

  • @BokoNOM sweet! best of luck! Keep watching my videos to learn more! :D

  • did u use a tablet for this?

  • I wanna color like this so badly =((

  • @goatdean12 Is there something stopping you?

  • @vihena lack of knowledge XD

  • You've earned yourself a subscriber! :D

  • @1girl2sweet *plays Final Fantasy Victory Fanfare*

  • The only thing I have to say is that her eyes are a bit unfocused I'd like them to lock onto something, other than hat it was very nice!

  • so envious how you can do perfect strokes in one go >_> must have taken a long time to master it >_>

  • I love all the little details, like the streams of sunlight. That really tied the whole picture together, I think. ^^ Made it look like a chilly Spring or almost Fall afternoon.

  • @LittleMissStitches Thanks! That was definitely what I was going for. Glad you liked it! :)

  • Nice Coloring, as expected of you ;P But I have to say, some credit should go to your Fan too! From the LineArt you showed, in my opinion your fan has some skill too!

  • @ShinRo90 Yup. She's pretty good. I didn't have to make too many changes to her original sketch.

  • I enjoyed watching your video)))

  • everyone hail Vihena -sama~! -_-... its so beautifffulll *shed tears*

  • Thanks again Radiant! :D

  • @Zelenardiana You're welcome! ^_^

  • btw, how did you change the color of the hair so easily?

  • @kitsuneshin Image > Adjustments > Hue/Saturation.

  • amazing :D do you have techniques or tutorial videos for doing this? and how did you almost accurately paint?

  • @kitsuneshin everything I do, it's all there in my videos. They may be a little fast, but watch several of them, and you'll start to pick up exactly what it is that I do.

  • @vihena Thank you for the advice! :)

  • ahh if this was slower icould finally learn how to use ps how did u learn couse i need help plzz lol i got all the cs's i suck at ps tho

  • @729mana I may upload a slower version in the future, I guess. It takes a LONG time to upload though. :(

  • beautiful ^-^

  • what did you by 3:01? where the lines seemed like they glowed??

  • @lusibeth I duplicated the line art layer, and then did a gaussian blur.

  • @vihena ahh thank you very much for telling :D

  • I love using your videos to help me paint X3, but I must say that it's kind of mind blowing, knowing that you a have a computer capable of handling the beast known as Photoshop -,-

  • @Weirdoman16 lol it's not much of a beast. Even a Pentium is able to run Photoshop. :)

Glad my videos are helpful to you.

  • I love claris :D

And wonderful art like always :)

  • @Miyukichan14 Thanks, Miyukichan! :D I love Claris too. ^_^

  • what distortion methods do you use like in the beginning? i've always wondered about that in your videos =P

  • @shadowkunai12 It's Warp. You can warp a selection using free transform.

  • @vihena Thanks alot :D oh btw what are the colors you use for skin? i find it hard to get the right color =P

  • Dig the end result buddy ;).

  • Awesome.... But how do you make the hair shading like that? not the effects at the end but in the beginning. I have sai even thought their different, how do you shade the hair with pretty edges etx

  • looks really good :D

  • lols niiiceeee

  • How do you do line art so good free hand? I've had my wacom fun for about a month now and i can not do freehand line-art at all, But I'm pretty good at everything else. =\

  • @dacasman It takes more than a month to do good free hand line art. It's taken me a year or more, and I'm still learning to do it better.

  • @dacasman I suppose you could say that it depends on two things. A steady hand and long strokes. If your tablet allows, try using your arm more than wrist. I've had my tablet for years and I'm still learning to do it. So don't give up and keep trying and you'll undoubtedly get to this level of line art.

Radiant has a blog post on it. Check the website and look or search for 'How to draw better line art' :).

    Take care!!~

  • @udsahn Thanks for the advice. When you say "if your tablet allows it" do you mean, is it big enough? because I feel that my tablet is too big. I have the largest bamboo fun, and i kinda feel like there is too much of a distance to make a line. It's kind of hard for me to keep a consistent smooth line over such a huge distance.
