This prototype actually looks better, graphically, than the PS3 version. It's kind of painful.
But the video is really interesting. It's cool that Witch Time could originally be activated on demand, and that the witch hearts were originally blue orbs.
I'm sure nobody at Sega will be able to read this, but I feel I should say it anyway.
Theres a few things in this (awesome) prototype that should have never been removed from the final product. Being able to use the motorbike to ride around and as an attack such a great idea! I love it! I hope this is in Bayonetta 2!
Also the weapon based finishers are far cooler then the final products torture attacks...
@sausagesausage What about the weapon specific Punish Attacks we have now? Notice how in this original system, the action stops during a finishing attack. In the final version, during any Punish Attack, the action still continues as normal (and activation does not cost you the Magic Gauge). You can even freely Parry during these sequences to score yourself Magic Gauge orbs or Witch Time activations.

@SirIlpalazzo Are you crazy? I've seen hate for the PS3 version, but its graphics are miles better than this.

@MordeaniisChaos What do you mean? I know it's a prototype. It's prototype that has graphics worse than the PS3's.

@sausagesausage Except Platinum Games developed Bayonetta, not Sega.

Trust me, I know... I've been a fan since they we're Clover and Capcom still had a soul.
But it was Sega that uploaded this video onto the Sega Japan Youtube Channel... So.

@sausagesausage Ah, that's good to know. Alot of other people on YT don't seem to understand the difference between developer and publisher.

I second that. I suppose P* figured they would get old quickly, the bike was just too hard to render in faster fights.
I personally think the bayo design is far better than the finished version. I could of done without the whole "getting naked" every 5 mins too.

True, but some of the prototype weapon finishers are to awesome not to be in the final game. =D
I hope to see the Bike item return in Bayonetta 2!
