He's easily the most versatile singer I've ever heard. What a phenom.....haunting,expressive­,sentimental........his voice and guitar playing is always so full of color,warmth, and just beauty. Singing a Buckley tune is not like singing a Beatle tune or a Dylan tune. He just doesn't allow it. Never heard anyone else's voice that could do it.

The first song I heard from him and knew it was him was Last Goodbye. I'd searched for the artist for years and finally found it two years ago. I was listening to So Real as I read about his death. Coincidentally, it was on the spoken word part when things were really ominous.
