  • Isnt this a game by Atlus, not Squeenix?

  • @danbasker

No, it's by Square Enix. Why would it be by Atlus??

  • i prefer they make a remake of Ogre battle than this..

  • U can own this game with an army of archers. they are the most overpowered class in the game

  • @rashes95 archer alone does not own the game, cuz when the enemy's placement is up & high, archer is out of luck, that's when ninja comes into play, another insane class of the game. Army of Ninja + Archer owns the game :)

  • I'm getting this game. No idea how I'm going to play it with the games coming out the end of this year, but I'm getting it anyways.

  • Name your main character Lelouch and you'll get a story almost like Code Geass. I lol when the vyce said "Lelouch we must defeat Lancelot".

  • another reason why psp is better than 3DS

  • @ianrex123 lol NO!

  • miss you ogre battle 64 *.*

  • i hope they bring to the ipod touch i love the look of it i think it is the next part of fiunal fantasy tatics story line

  • @RuthJoySmith I hate you. The iPod is a video game killer.

  • @sauske772 agreed

  • Not a good game. Don't waste your time with this one, go for final fantasy tactics or Jean D'Arc instead if you like these games. This game is easy and repetitive, almost no strategy is actually required. I did not die once in this game and the only class I used were knights lol. The story nothing original either, a young naive soldier is betrayed by his duke and goes on a journey to save the country from evil "dark knights". Yup, like we haven't seen that story a million times. Boooooo

  • @tuskir911 I disagree with you the story so much more then stop a bunch of dark knights plus this game came out 16 years ago so some of the stuff has been used in other games but still You have to make tough decisions on whether then end justifies the means or do you put your beliefs in front of people you care about. Jeanne d arc doesn't have shit on this game and final fantasy tactics was made by the same exact guy. I put over a 100 hours into this game and almost thinks it better then fft.

  • @tuskir911 Of course you didn't die once... U have the chariot system. Your units have a timer till they permanently die. You can level up your men to be stronger than every opponent.

Jean D'Arc? It's an even easier game.

FFT? Hell it's the most easiest, the only time i had difficult was when my main char had to fight alone. Another game which by if i train my men i will steamroll the game.

  • @tuskir911 lol geeez seems like u followed the chaos route and no side questing jajajajaja storyline is much more complex and there are a looooot of things that you probably missed ...... this game is awsome ..... ah and when u say FFT u mean 1 rite? coz all after that one are just plain enix crap ... this one got saved just because they left the plot intact (as far as i know)

  • Is the game as good as Knight of Lodis? TO:KoL is my favorite TRPG in terms of story and gameplay, if this game is anywhere near it I'm getting it.

  • @GMovieSeeker Haha, I just played that game after this to follow the story. This is a lot way better in many terms, i mean, its hard to complete this a hundred percent. Oh and i love the twist about Alphonse and Lans, I knew it they resemble the same hair color XD

  • and I jizzed in my pants...

  • @batista777 most of the ff tactics/ogre team worked on ff12 (which i think is the best core ff since the snes era) Ivalice ftw!!:D

  • totally not anything like final fantasy tactics

  • @VVSaber ooo final fantasy tactics :D peeenniiisss !

  • I just heard the Ogre battle theme and got chills all down my spine. Reminds me so much of my childhood.

  • THIS GAME IS A BONER

  • FFT is just a copy+paste from Tactics Ogre, this remake makes TO 10x better than FFT. But yeah.. it's a mature game, not something to Kingdom Hearts fans.

Even the dev team likes more TO than FFT.

  • Comment removed

  • @XenovannHellwolf I'm assuming you're just terrible at SRPG's if you think the grind here is bad try Disgaea the game is fun but if you want to reach to higher level stages you need to grind your characters and weapons even items..

  • Crap game. Like FF tactics but all wrong. The story so muddled it reminds me of FF 12. After the tutorial battles its way too hard (the enemy blocks 90% of your attacks) and the entire battle depends on ranged weapons so choosing classes you want, forget it. Your sister hides healing only people close to her and the level up system sucks. These are first impressions. Been trying to pass Krysaro for two days now! Its way too hard if I wanted this level of frustration Id play Advanced Wars.

  • @XenovannHellwolf

this game is old skool, you are one of the reasons why gaming is dying, you have no patience for these type of games, you expect everyone to hold your hands and the game be easy, go play your shitty ass flashy games like Call of duty

  • @TurkishHegemony Im not one of the reasons, you know what the reason is? They failed with the difficulty level. Yes blame me like you dont have a hard time with it poser.

  • @XenovannHellwolf I never said I hadnt difficulty with it, you're just a pussy for whining about old skool games who came out in a period when games were hardcore, the audience was different back then, now we have whining gamers like you who'd rather play call of Duty or Angry Birds

  • @TurkishHegemony Its not old school its for PSP, grandpa , they could have changed the settings easily.

  • @XenovannHellwolf this game is over 15 years old kid, the PSP is not the first system it was released on

  • @TurkishHegemony Im not a kid, and Im aware. I just said they could have tweaked it by now. They do the same for complaints of recent games still today. And if you want to talk about the 15 year old game why are you posting on the PSP trailer? Shoo.

  • @XenovannHellwolf you should judge this game with no expectations of 2011, if you compare it with todays games you will always come out disappointed about old games like FF7, HL2, Mario, MGS etc

  • Ugh...this and Dissidia Duodecim are on sale at Amazon right now. I've never played either series, but they both look like worthy purchases. Hmm...any suggestions?

  • looks fucking cool....need a psp now.

  • There are no words describing this game...... O: simply amazing!!! O:

  • I'll say this right now: this game is good in its own right, and has some memorable moments, but the game could have been so much better if they found a way to implement the full squad battle style that the series predecessors Ogre Battle: MotBQ, and Ogre Battle 64: PoLC. Instead, now I'll forever remember this as a FFTactics clone, which is a shame, in my book.

  • @vante2 Its not a fftactics clone this game came before it fftactcs plus it was by the same guy and same team. It just people are to stupid to actually do alittle research. This game is a remake of tactics ogre let us cling together that was released back in 1995 on the super famicom and the psx version which was ported 2 years later.

  • @vante2 you're an idiot for thinking this as a fft clone. this is only a remake of the 1995? (or was it 1996?) version, and soon after fft came out. so which is the original? gtfo lol

  • this game made my head hurt SOOOO much, it took me 3 hours to save that girl with that whip, and omg i stayed up till 2 am doing that... -.- then people leave because i saved her... i was like "WTF?!!?!?!??!?!?" good game though

  • It's good but flawed. I wish someone could figure out a patch for the blasted crafting system which is the main flaw. The main game is great though and by using the chariot system you can go back and discover whole new sections. Even after the main games over there are some hidden quests to discover so it's got a lot of lastability.

  • I think I'm in love!!!

  • Mmm... Naaahhhh, the only-two games I´ve played from Team Ivalice (FINAL FANTASY TACTICS, the original for PSX, and FINAL FANTASY XII) disapointed me... TOO MANY FREACKIN POLITICAL-BETRAYAL PLOTS!!!!!!

  • 1:54 i choosed to kill them :"(

  • I'm really liking this game. I always prefered the ogre battle universe over final fantasy. I just wish they'd make a game that continues after ogre battle 64 though..its story kinda cliffhangered with that evil baby thing and never got a sequel:( plus Magnus is way cooler than Denam and these other heroes

  • The second version of one of the best tactics games ever. Along with Final Fantasy Tactics, Fire Emblem, Advanced Wars and Onimusha

  • Ff tacticts looked exactly the same even the remake which sucks ass -_-

  • @a543able I hope you weren't talking about War of the Lions, since it was pretty much the same as the PSOne, with the exception of two more job classes, and cameos from other FF characters.

You are obviously a NIntendo fanboy who can't stand to play actual games. Go back under your bridge.

  • Dual-Weilding Excalibur and Save the Queen then soloing the Final boss as Ramza... Can't wait to dive into this one :D

  • when i was a teen i rented Tactics Ogre Let Us Cling Together for the PS1 and i LOVED IT .. tho i will buy the PSP version but i wish they would release the game as a PS1 Classic as well but Atlus brought it over too NA wish Enix ( if they were smart ) got them to put it on the NA PS Store... i want the old graphics and the game with out the changes they made too the PSP version.

  • its like moshigami in ps1.. heheh.. is there a english version of this??

  • how do you use the grappling hook! someone please help me please! I want to be able to use it and pretend im batman

  • what? i beat this game 9 years ago on SNES(japanese).... did they make a remake of Tactics Ogre Let Us Cling Together??????.. this game is awesome..

  • I got this game yesterday, and I can say that it's like FF Tactics, but with more awesome stuff!

  • Looks almost like final fantasy tactics(advance).

    I'll buy it then.

  • @MR5Martin Probably because the guy who created the Ogre Battle series here was the same one who created Final Fantasy Tactics (Producer only on FFT Advance) . Name was Yasumi Matsuno.

  • Back when it came out on PS1, it took me 250 hours to complete the game in it's entirety, even then... I don't know for sure if I did everything. lol

  • When I saw the first part with the game askin' you questions, that immediately sold it to me. hahaha

  • The amazing details caught me. This look good.

  • another game with tarot cards :D

  • ah the olden times when tactics ogre first came out..it was such a good game...games these days just dont have the replay value or the difficulty like their predecessors in the past.

  • @htazn I know what you mean. Most games nowadays focus too much on online multiplayer. and that's pretty much as far as replay value goes.

But man, Tactics Ogre is pretty amazing. Haven't sunk so many hours into a game in such a long time.

  • @htazn not true. The mass effect games and such by bioware are some of the few games nowadays worthy of replay

  • IT SCORED 9.1 IN GAMESPOT.

  • i downloaded this game for psp , the next day my 4 gb memory stick broke before i even tried it. what should i do now!.

  • aww, the classic version of this game in ps1 brings back memories, i played this game addictively when i had a chickenpox. haha. just finished 2 storyline of it (out of 8, i guess)... look now, it has a remake, but is the storyline the same? (the characters are, but has complicated spelling now lol)

  • You know, if the guys who developed Final Fantasy Tactics and Tactics Ogre made a core Final Fantasy, that'd be sweet. The moral choices, political plot instead of "saving the world," classic fantasy world/character designs... I'm sure it would appeal to both Western and Japanese gamers. It'd be like Demon Souls with an actual story.

Too bad we won't get it. I just made myself sad thinking about how great this would be.

  • @batista777 Well they made FF 12 but they did not have half as much freedom to do what they wanted like with Tactics ogre. It is sad believe me its hard for me to play the other final fantasy because i think the story telling in the other games is so naive and cliched.

  • @batista777 Seeing how Final Fantasy XII had a political plot and no one liked the plot or the characters, I'm guessing that won't happen again. Final Fantasy XIII at least had something a liiiittle different than saving the world. Both FF's had flaws (although in my opinion FFXII had way more flaws, I really loved FFXIII), I'm sure SE knows what to do now for FFXV and the FF franchise in general.

  • @yoyoyo88665 Actually there were alot of people who liked FF 12 plot infact more so then ff13. Personally i grown to like FF 12 more especially after beating this game and Vagrant Story. Infact most of the people who like FF 12 are people like me who like game develop by Matsuno (Ogre Battle, FFT, Vagrant Story, Tactics Ogre). Although FF13 not my favorite I personally think its better then FF 10 and FF 8 both which i can't stand.

  • @stacetheface47 Lots of people prefer FF12 and lots prefer FF13. They're both the anti-thesis' of one-another. I VASTLY prefer FF13's EVERYTHING over FF12, but FF12 is still a GREAT game and I respect that- and even though I personally don't enjoy it that much, I'll still never sell it because maybe one day I'll learn to love it because I know it's a great game

  • @yoyoyo88665 you forgot to mention people who hate both FFXII and XIII...(I am this one).

  • @zfjunior Ask me if I care that you hate two great games

  • @yoyoyo88665 Actually I don't care. I am just saying.

  • @batista777

They did make a Final Fantasy, it was the XII.

And if it wasn't for the middle part of the game, without even the slightest part of storyline or plot, it would have been a great game, a masterpiece. Too bad Matsuno was ill for the most part of the developing.

  • @batista777 You're talking about FF-XII. Matsuno was taking his sweet time and the heads weren't happy. In came Vaan and Penelo to "salvage" the game. Out went Basch as the main character. Matsuno was probably forced to step down under the guise of "health problems". The end result was a bit of a mess I guess, but it's still my favorite FF.

  • @batista777 lol That was FF12

  • @batista777 I know exactly how you feel. I really sick of most current jrpg's nowadays especially final fantasy and kingdom hearts. Final Fantasy needs to be taken into a much darker more mature direction.

  • @stacetheface47 i think thats what they are trying to accomplish with FFXIII: Verses (i think, the one with noctis), which looks fucking BRILL; its certainly more political and less 'worldy-endy' than previous installments. the atmosphere is more concerned with realism, with a lot more ambiguity and less melodrama than is usually evident. and Noctis looks like a right mean bastard, like cloud but with less moral dilemma.

  • @realisticcid Maybe will see not a real big fan of tetsuya nomura but I will play the game if it gets good review and good fan reception.

  • @batista777 I stopped actually playing FF games after 7 and Tactics when the characters and storylines started getting overly emo and effeminate. I didn't learn until recently that Tactics people were involved in FF12, you might want to check it out if you haven't. It's in the "Tactics universe," and it emulates pretty well. The main character looks like some kind of Squall-Tidus lovechild but they had to change him to appeal to demographics or something.

  • @batista777

    It's called Final Fantasy 12.

  • @batista777 the same development leads made FINAL FANTASY XII

  • @batista777 That happened! It was Final Fantasy XII, and unfortunately it sucked. So much potential though, but I don't think I would ever put myself through playing that again

  • @hakunamatata414 Damn You´re right! Excellent cg´s and graphics, but... THE FREAKING GAME IT´S TERRIBLY EXHAUSTIVE... both, game and story!

  • @jimmyramosf7 I'm glad someone agrees. In fairness though, FFTactics was/is the BOMB. Best strategy game ever, and great story too. The only bad thing about it was the English translation... which is more than fixed in the otherwise buggy PSP port

  • @batista777 can you tell me please.. in tactical orge let us cling together, before a battle it says assign units to the battle party and it has a chess... i dont know how to put other people except me vyce and my sister... please tell me how to do it.. thanks :)

  • @batista777 They made FFXII though.

  • @batista777 uhm, hello? Final Fantasy XII? Matsuno directed it, the director behind FF Tactics and Tactics Ogre (and Vagrant Story, btw). You know what? Square wouldn't let Matsuno do as he pleased however, it's a really toned down game in comparison to, say, Tactics Ogre, and the "let's save the world" theme kicks in rather soon in the game, unfortunately. Matsuno left the team toward the end of the development and so some things went very wrong. A huge disappointment, if you ask me.

  • @fei85gg Explains why the FF12 story is so much better than other games in the series, and why Ivalice is the most well developed FF world. But whiny "hardcore" FF fans hate it all.

  • @fei85gg FFXII started off very much like Tactics Ogre, with political intrigue. Then like you said, the direction of the game changed and the plot became very much like any other Final Fantasy. Tactics Ogre let you (spoilers) slaughter a bunch of innocent people in a false-flag political move. At least WRPG players would consider playing FF if they heard it had dark moral tones.

Maybe VersusXIII will give me the darker FF I want albeit in a modernized setting... Whenever that comes out.

  • @batista777

I agree on all points, except for the "political plot" instead of "saving the world." How on earth are you going to have an RPG that's not about saving the world? Blasphemy!

The most well loved Final Fantasy games are about saving the world. FF12 is about politics, and that's not one of the most loved, like 7, 8, or 10.

  • @batista777 It's nothing like Demon's Souls.

DS is a cruel, dark, atmospheric REAL-TIME Action RPG that throws the player into an unknown "Make your own adventure" kind of playing style.

It doesn't have a real evolving story, because it doesn't need one. The enviroment in that game speaks for it's own.

Tactics Ogre relies on traditional TBcombat & strategy, involving a branching story and an array of developing characters, and a party.

If you're comparing games, do it with ones that are alike.

  • @badkiller2 I just meant the dark medieval look, not the gameplay. Tactics Ogre and Demon's Souls are Japanese developed, yet have a more Western aesthetic, like Balbur's Gate, Dragon Age, or Elder Scrolls. With the knights and castles and stuff, that's all.

  • @batista777 Just because it's Japanese doesn't mean it has to stick to it's culture and have some feudal history on ancient china or Japan and the like. Shogun Total War is europe, does that make it japanese too??

Besides, DS remind me nothing of TES, DA, or Baldur's Gate. it has the Jap touch to it, as does Tactics Ogre, but as individual games they have nothing in common, and I do mean NOTHING.

  • @badkiller2 Actually, disregard any previous replies; I'll clarify my original point. I wanted Final Fantasy to have dark moral choices/paths like TO, and a darker setting like DS. Naming two things in one sentence doesn't mean I'm making a comparison. They were just examples of how FF could change.

Besides, if I spot dark fantasy touches in Tactics Ogre and Demon's Souls, that just means I look at more than genre, gameplay, and graphics when I judge a game. Settings strike me more.

  • @batista777 Ahh, then thanks for clarifying. And you didn't "spot fantasy touches". You literally called it a "Demon's Souls with an actual story". That kinda stands against what you say now.

Also, The Dark atmospheres in TO and DS are totally different. TO is just on a darker, more sinister tune than FF. DS is a borderline horror game, I mean really, just look at the Adjudicator... Eww.

And when you say settings, what exactly do you mean?? Settings has a wide array of definitions.

  • @badkiller2 Setting as in the world. I figured a 3D TO would look more like DS rather than FF. More dark castles instead of spiky-haired guys riding chocobos in bright happy towns. After all, TO let you slaughter a whole village of innocent people. The problem with that is... it's my imagination. There's not really a right or wrong to that, right? It would probably look more like FFXII though.

Anyway, guess the wording messed up what I meant. Other people understood so it's no biggie.

  • @batista777 Ahh, I see. IF only TO was Real time, I would enjoy it more. I absolutely hate Turn based combat. It's so fake, bizzare, and doesn't make any sense --even in terms of fantasy. It's like "Allright I attack now your turn to rape me" -- WTF?!

  • @badkiller2

I think that kind of happened during the past in some country wherein some soldier will stay still and wait until their enemy fires and they won't evade the bullets or cannon balls. that's how aristocrats or generals fight wars during that time because they think that it would be a civilized battle and they probably like playing chess and maybe the reason you don't like this game is that you hate chess

  • @lordknighteliwood Well, certainly some people have really retarded ideals.

Still, you can't be serious would let his army get pummeled and they are supposed to take it silently and not move. That's real people we are talking about.

And yes, I don't like chess, but not because of that. I just never really got into it. I really don't see the connection between the terms of battle in real war and chess. The strategies, yes, not the way it plays out.

  • @badkiller2

I'm not sure if it was real I just read it in a book, if it's true maybe that's how loyal the soldiers to their lords/general during those time

  • @batista777 Thats exactly what i want as well. I really can't stand most jrpg's after playing this game. Have a game thats morally ambiguous not this I'm a overly naive heroic idealistic character who thinks he can change the world.

  • must buy...allways loved this kinda games ff tactics advance

  • "Tatics Ogre Let Us Cling Together" is like the biggest WTF for a game name ever. I mean that in a good way

  • @Animevaati1 The title is a Queen refrence lol

  • is this better than fire emblem?

  • @orlokyshadow thats what im tryin to figure out to......

  • @orlokyshadow

both has different types of gameplay, features... i played fire emblem and tactics ogre... they're both awesome!!

  • Love this game. I prefer TO over FFT just because of the branching paths.

  • read the full review at techzeta.com

  • They should have chosen a less suggestive name...

  • @yaguang That's exactly what I thought when I saw it in EB Games. >.>

  • Awesome game! I spend most of my gaming hours in this jewel. Totally worth it for the price, it's fun and the story is great! You should try it at least...

  • actually ff tactics is kinda a rip off of this game but ff tactics is still a great game i prefer tactics ogre though

  • @xxxmortalityxxx

you realize that the orginal tactics ogre predates FF tactics right? If it is anything, FF tactics ripped off tactics ogre.

  • @Ryviusx01

You realize that both games had the same director, music composer, and character designer.

  • @Commandie070792pnt0

You realize the two games have different developers right? Game design is what drives a game, not director, music composer, nor character design.

  • @Ryviusx01

Right, and that explains why this game and Final Fantasy Tactics look, sound, feel, and play almost exactly the same.

  • @Ryviusx01 What the hell are you talking about both games where made by Yasumi Matsuno and composed by Hitoshi Sakimoto and Masaharu Iwata. As well as art direction by Hiroshi Minagawa and character design by Akihiko Yoshida.

  • This game is seriously awesome. It has a huge focus on cause and effect. I actually felt bad for all the people i killed in this game, and some of it feels so intense. Also the game play is really fun. If you have a PSP, i seriously thing you should get this game.

  • this got a 9/10.......?

  • @sharsasuke01 Play Final Fantasy Tactics before?

    Best game ever.

  • @Verlangsamen nope, but i'll give it a try

  • @Verlangsamen YESS!! when it was on the PSX it was AWESOME!! but on the psp, i hated how they changed everyone's dialog and the way they spoke as well as the lag when you use magic and the like u_u

  • @Verlangsamen

Play Tactics Ogre: The Knight of Lodis

    Better.

  • @Verlangsamen

ff Tactics on psp was a total fail

  • @a543able

i liked it, but reviving your characters was too much of a hassle

  • @a543able Why was it a total fail?

It was basically just the PSOne version, which was just as epic...

It even added cutscenes and voice acting. Aw yeah!?!?

  • @Verlangsamen

just in my opinion it sucks, the gba ver is even better for me

  • @a543able Everyone has their own opinions. :p

    It's alright.

  • @Verlangsamen igreed but, which one? the one on DS or PSP?

  • @scotc1994 The original story (PSOne and PSP) is what made it the best.

Also, considering the fact that you could unlock Cloud Strife as a playable character. :p

  • @Verlangsamen

yeah i finished both the one on DS and the one on PSP but im still confused about one thing

how do you get clouds limit abilities to work? (luso crossover on psp win!! :D)

  • @scotc1994 you actually need to have his sword, the materia blade, found in the to of bervenia volcano (mt bervenia) then equip someone with treasure hunter ability and got to the highest peak. :D

  • @cornydrew

how on earth did anyone manage to find thet out? unless it ties in with FF7 im amazed ANYone found that. its just so obscure.

  • @scotc1994 uhmm i found it by reading some guides at gamefaqs.com :D

  • @Verlangsamen i know its from the same guys right?

  • @guthixpwnz And yes. It is, that's why I wanted to try it out. :p

  • Im not done, im on chapter 3, but this is like one of the best games ive ever played, better than the gba fire emblems even

  • this kind of looks like FF: Tactics. :D

  • @kokophilly yea, and if its even half as good as it was, im definitely gettin it! Ive played FF tactics war of the lions about 10 times now and each time wishing that theres gonna be a surprise in there somewhere that i havent seen yet XD

  • El mejor juego de la historia, son incontables las tardes enteras que pasabamos con mis amigos jugando a esto en el PS1 xD

  • It doesn't matter what is much better between FFT and This one... it matters that Square Enix is the best :-bd

  • q juego tan malo

  • @chivas110491

    estas loco!

    este juego es adictivo!

  • We need more games like this, nothing can beat a good turn based class based RPG these types of games have sucked up more hours than any playstation 3 game i've ever played

  • @slightlyskitso HA! Owned.

  • looks like a cheap ffta fake :x

  • @kakaoike

Tactics Ogre came out before FFTA and was made by the same team.

  • @kakaoike You are aware that this series as a whole was released long before FFT was even thought about? Aside from that, FFTA blows. The original FFT will always reign supreme over the ones made after it. But this game, Tactics Ogre, looks simply amazing; a nice renewal. :D

  • @ChaosIgnition I dont understand how you can think FFTA blows when its practically the same as FFT, maybe you just didnt like the story I dunno..

  • @Omegakill1987 I thought FFTA was great. The game play was streamlined and tightened up enough to make me view it as a better game than the original.

However, I found the quasi-medieval setting and the (slightly over dramatic) political story of the first Final Fantasy Tactics to be more intriguing.

  • @n8dogg87 Yeah well the FF series has always had over dramatic storys but its still one of the reasons why I'm such a big fan of Final Fantasy, out of any game their characters are the most memorable. I want SquareEnix to go back to FFIX roots, I don't know if its because I'm getting older but I've always played a FF til the very end but I haven't touched it in 12 in months, is it me? Or are companys changing their games too much?

  • @Omegakill1987 It's the case of the company themselves changing. The big players in the development of the earlier Final Fantasy games have left the company.

I don't mind shakeups. I enjoy it when developers do different things with established properties. But XIII was a bit of a train-wreck for me. A pretty one, but a train-wreck nonetheless.

I just couldn't stick with it to get to the point where everyone said the game got better.

  • @Omegakill1987 Unfortunately it ISN'T practically the same as FFT. Judges and the crappy laws made sure of that, then there's the fact that what makes or breaks class-based SRPGs is the classes themselves. FFT and FFTA's classes and races are so different that the games themselves are miles apart simply due to them. I personally feel that the original was the better game graphically, storylinewise and also had better sounds/music and I preferred the classes and abilities in the game as well.

  • @TenchiHawkwing I can see what you mean, FFTA, FFT (PSP) and FFT(DS) are all very different but I suppose thats whats making them money, who would want to buy the same game thats been remade just to use on another console. I actually liked the Judges and laws in FFTA apart from when Bosses could get as many warnings as they liked but then I suppose it would be too easy if you had a law where you couldn't damage humans and have all human party. Long live the duel weilding Excalibur 2 Knight's!

  • @ChaosIgnition

so this is a remake? i indeed wasnt aware of that.

  • @kakaoike
