I saw Spamalot a week after the Tony's and she was still there. She's such an amazing talent, I would love to see her go back to Broadway. BTW, in Diva's Lament she changed the words from "no Tony award" to "I've a Tony award" I never laughed so much at a show!

She actually didn't start Grey's Anatomy until the second season (The first season premiered in March of '05). The producers from ABC saw her in Spamalot and liked her so much they told her she could be in any ABC show and she picked Grey's b/c she was fan. She was only supposed to have a recurring role, not be a series regular so she didn't leave Spamalot for Grey's... they just liked her so much that in the third season she became a series regular.
