I think the most accurate version I've ever hear (in tempo, but also from the overall signatures and restrictions written on the partition) is from Alica De Larrocha. You can find it on youtube. This woman plays it perfectly.
It says: "Allegro ma non troppo" and not "prestissimo" ! Not even Moonlight Sonata 3mvt. is that fast, and it's Presto, so this is way out of charts...
... did Albeniz wrote different versions of this piece? i have a different music sheet.. Are you sure this is the ORIGINAL sheet? i need to know pls :)
@pianoaddict06 well, i have the edition "schott no 09643/47" which is quite different in some parts from this one in your vid. i was asking myself which one should be played according to Albeniz original manuscript. I sent u a pm so u can give a look to the version i have. i hope u understud what i asked
@BrunoCt86 My sheets look differently too. I think you mean that the upper and lower lines are connected in the middle, and your sheets don't have that? It just looks different, but the notes are thesame, dont worry :P

I play it slower, this is way too fast.
