I remember that before I learned about used the Time Stop, I used to go through this stage with just my little P-Shooter. It was a while before a friend told me about using the Time Stop. But, when I did, I only used it a few times, cuz it was much more fun going through the stage without it. Friends thought I was crazy for that, but I had gotten used to going through the stage without, and using it was like riding a mountain bike with traIning wheels...

I'll admit that I managed the lasers and Quickman himself decently back in the day without timestop.. Mainly, I didn't know the flash stopped the lasers, and somehow I didn't think to try timestop on Quickman. (Dunno why.. Heck, maybe I didn't even beat Flashman first.)

Huh... I got Mega Man 2 on my cell phone, and they must have fucked it up because Quick Man could easily kill you in 4 hits, just by touching you, and every time you hit him, it only took away one tick of health. He was so frigging hard, even with all the other powerups... I had to use 2 sub-tanks before I was able to beat him. And the worst part is that his boomerang weapon sucks ass, so beating him isn't even worth it.

In theory, if he hadn't hit that enemy, he would've moved through faster and not been hit by the laser at all. Either way, he didn't die from touching the laser, and that was the challenge.
