Oh, and one of my favorite parts of the actual horn (not the song) is that if you pay attention, you'll notice that the first individual blast of each of the three repetitions gets progressively louder... It's as if one of the main purposes of the horn (while every horn obviously celebrates a goal) is to get you more and more pumped up during the horn so you'll be roaring during the chant. :)

I was horrifed when I tuned into the inaugral game at The Rock to find that this wasn't the horn...

While the newer horn (the one that's doesn't sound like Carolina's) with Rock and Roll, Part 2 is great, the new horn can't hold a match to this horn...

Seriously, this was easily one of the most original goal horns ever used... I mean, how many other teams have encouged the fans to yell "Ole!" after a goal? :)

I do agree with devilzfan1 - the old horn was much better than that annoying horn they have in Newark. Honestly they should get rid of hockey horns all together - the benefit of having a loud crowd is not to be drown out by a loud ass horn.

Dude Devil fans are the worst fans ever. They only sell out against the Rangers - Islanders - Flyers - and that's it. They don't even sell out a game in the playoffs. When they reach the finals - that is when all the Devil fans come out of the wood work. Ranger games are always sold out or damn close to it no matter who they play. I love seeing the attendance at Devil games against shit teams - 11,000 or so. The Rangers draw more than 17,000 every home game. You don't know shit.

The Devils sell a lot more seats than you think they do. As a matter of fact, the Lower Deck is seeing more and more people in its seats every month, and the Upper Deck and Balconies are ALWAYS packed.

We're averaging 15,000 now in an arena that seats 17,500.

How do I know this? I actually go to games instead of listening to bullshit spread by rival fans.
