  • "I don't know what happened"

    A stall, happened.

  • forget it you cant fly...!

  • lol mine did that

  • HA! mode 1, thats awesome

  • ouch hope you fixed it

  • @CAMECProductions

Yer man, all fixed...that vid was from aged ago LoL

I repaired her after that crash and was hanging in garage for 2 years...

I got the idea to put a lipo in her a few months back and she screamed LoL flew well with the extra power....then.....the wing snapped mid flight...hmmm (see my vid)

Now is undergoing another reconstruction...so stay tuned LoL ;o)

  • Check latest vid ( added to vid responce ) to see the ole Cessna fanging it with the addition of a LiPo Battery. ;o)

  • Thats what happens when you fly the thing on the verge of stalling the entire time...

  • You guys really should look at the date this vid was posted. LoL

Cheers for ya comments and advice though ;o)

Is a coincidence i just took her out for a spin today after being rebuilt and hanger'd for well over a year n a half.

She flew....for 30 secs before the old bat died, but she glided nicely to the ground....3 times. I must invest in a few new bats for this old gal ;o)

    Cheers

    Geo

  • Nice tip stall..

Turn GENTLY.... Imagine if an airliner turned like that, the luggage would be all over the place... Turn gently, make wide turns, let the plane gain altitude and speed, then maintain alt and speed in turns that are wider and graceful.

  • Read some books on how a plane flys and get your self some help at a local flying field and of course a good trainer plane.

  • Left wing stalled. XD

  • when u launched it looked preaty stable. I noticed that you started to steep turn alot causing airspeed bleed and u were pichin the nose up all the time making it stall and drom the nose alot, whereas you should have taken it a little further, fly strait, turn slowely (bigger turning radius) and trim the airplane first before playing with it. hope you fly it againg

  • mangalated???? lol

  • put 'RC' in the title, dumbjacks!

  • look like he accidentally turned the elevators down.

    this plane looks underpowered too.

  • @acr8tiv Aye, she is a lil under powered and was a wing stall. Gravity sucks man LoL

  • @GeoStar13 COG might be one cause... you gotta gain altitude first so you can really see how she flies... your plane is awesome.

  • how do you attach a ribbon to the transitter??

  • @WildPilot300 just tie it around the areial

  • I have one of these. It's a cow to fly (compared to my nitro) but seems relatively tuff. Mine has stacked enough, I am onto my 5th cowl, it has hit a tree, and now the nose wheel will fall out mid flight, but it still flies o.k, although that does upset the CG. I've had about 30 flights so far.

Is yours the 3 channel or the 4 channel version? I went the 4 as when I had my first 3 channel plane, it would always slip in turns, and I kinda steer away from 3 channel's now.

  • Is the 3 chan...though can go 4 chan with the wing/servo kit.

I rebuilt her, had a flight, painted her Army Green and she is still hanging in garage for another run.

  • Its still a shitty plane noob haha stick to paper airplanes.

  • @cfpmjy people like u reply things like "its a shitty plane" because u dont have one...... grow up if u dont like the vid dont watch it or reply.

  • Comment removed

  • cant even fly that simple crap plane lol

  • OK mr. I'm so fuckin good "

You telling me you have NEVER had a mishap in the world of RC flight?

You must have been an Ace from the get go pal.

And you are right, it is a crap plane and it is still airworthy.

    Cheers n Beers

    Geo

  • hey wat is this plain called

  • Its an Ego Cessna 182

  • i wouldn't recommend it though. Bit under powered, less you mod it ;o)

  • You need to keep your speed up so that you don't stall the plane, also try flying at a higher altitude so that you will have time to recover is you make a mistake.

  • Yer rgr that. Airspeed was pretty low and the wing stall didnt help lol.

She is still going, but hanging in my garage atm.

  • Tip Stall

  • hahah u fail..

  • a bit mangulated

  • Not a forgiving design, as it has NO dihedral. Clubs are very helpful, as they have someone to help you learn --> that's how I learned and it saved my plane several times. Keep trying.

  • never say "one more time", or" one more flight," the words are hexxed - voodoo!!! (mingulated)

  • you need some more practice i think, how long you ahve been flying.

  • This will still fly, give it a try...LOL!

  • who loves rc flying

  • Two things wrong right there.

    1. You are a Dickhead

    2 You are French

  • LOL LOL

    #2 is bad enough

    LOL

  • work on your skills you were flying in stall the whole time

  • I recommend a little up elevator when you're turning. will keep the nose up and prevent that kind of thing happening again! Be careful of this hobby though... it's an addiction!

  • 0:37... spoke too soon?

  • you need to put some weight in the front.

  • thats not that bad.. like 20 mins and some hot glu :P

  • que pendejo

  • well i coulda told you to be high in the are before you take a turn

  • oke thx! do u recomend it?

  • No!...LoL.

It is very underpowered and like said in other posts tail heavy.

If you have never flown B4 i would highly recomend an Electrufun XP. Very easy to fly and very durable.

I have some videos of the Electrafun and you can order them online.

  • Was this the Cessna RC airplane that I think it was? The reason I asked is it sure did look like it!!!!!

  • does dat airplane glitching when it cinda controlls itself?

  • Glitching? thats prob me over compensating in the turns and being to heavy on the stick.

  • fly higher man tats a very dangerous altitude

  • Funny crash! But the pilot was stupid!

  • Nice flight until you crashed xD

However i had almost the same problem with the steering, it was kinda slow response and crashed.. like it didnt want to takeoff.

Just waiting till the weather gets better and i'll be out flying again :D

Good luck with your next flight!

  • What is the best way for your first flight to go off ?

  • think about a motor upgrade the default motor is too unpowerd take a brushless with a lipo accu.

    good flying

  • haha cool video. too bad it crashed, put a little veight in her nose next flight, maybe.

    thanks for posting

  • sorry about your plane , did you manage to fix it ?

  • her man...she is hanging on my wall in the gararge awaiting another flight.

Fixed her up but had a banking incident where she hit the ground left wing down and snapped the wing....

She is all good now and OK to go...time and weather permitting :o)

  • HEy dude!

#1 always keep a rool of gaffa in the trunk.

#2 try adding on at brushless kit on this plane.

#3 and go a litle higer

you cant fly slow planes this sharp turns

so ither jo go slow and make Granpa turns ore else by a brushless kit and fl like i see you like to fly (Jet style)

I hope you understand my broke english spelling. and i hope i have been a good help :D

  • and that's supposed to offend me?

It's people like you that give this world a bad name you 46 year old racist wanker.

Oh, and have a nice day ;oD

    Geo

  • Ah,ah you idiot !!!!!

  • LoL Yer mate...good call.

Show me how well you can fly an R/C plane...

    Dickhead! :oP

  • It is tail heavy, EGO 182's always are. I had four of them and all them needed slight ballast and down trim on elevator to fly right. Whilst I never had issues with it, something people always commented on was that it was underpowered. Li-po battery and compatible speed controller are a definite good idea.

  • Yep, she is very tail heavy...still running but havn't gotten to take her out in ages...after the rebuild some extra weight went in the nose.

  • looks tail heavy

  • im no expert but you really should let the plane gain some height before attempting to turn to avoid wing stall. your turns are a bit too sharp too, thats why its lost height and speed.

    just my 2 cents.

  • Yer....classic case of being a lil too heavy handed on the sticks. I'm so used to throwing my Electrafun XP around that park that i over steered the C182 a lil bit too much ;o)

  • a bit mangulated, but she'll fly again.

  • read the description thats EXACATACALY what it says. except for some stuff

  • lol, Well, I just read the description thing. You're right that is exactly what it says!!!

    exept for some stuff.

  • did the passengers survive?

  • hahahahah that was very hilarious!!!!!!!!1

  • Cheers man, i aim to please...LOL

She is still going BTW ;o)

  • Can you buy a cessna like this with much low power for a smooth flight?

  • over all not a good day lol

  • i want to purchase a cessna like yours... where can i get it?

  • Check local hobby stores or online.

My one is an E-GO Cessna 182 but there are plenty of different brands out there

    Geo

  • I snapped mine in half taped it together and flew the next day its all good!!

  • These things are good like that....mine is repaired (gotta love sellys 5min epoxy...lol

Just still waiting for a nice day when i got time to get her back up...She in the boot of car atm waiting with my Electrafun XP....

    Cheers

    Geo

  • I got rid of my ego cessna they are crap compaired to other cessna's on the market. Ebay was the best buy i bought an ep400 cessna for $140 and it has a brushless motor about 100times faster than the ego. No more throwing the plabe to take off

  • you were lucky dude. mine came out looking like an eggshell. try checking the radio and flyhigher up!
