  • Oh du lieber Augustin, alles ist hin...

  • The one about the kid with the violin is actually quite a work of art.

  • Fuck you ya shallow prick.

  • This is not propaganda this is a deeply personal artistic tragedy involving enemy troops merdaring children during WW2 and Fuck you @IPlayWithFire135 fuck yoooooou!

  • the boy's kawaii.

  • I'm surprised. The soviets portrayed this Nazi looking like a friendly-looking guy. Its usually beasts and abominations.

  • @Lemoney100 Considering that they show the Nazi shooting an unarmed child with a machine gun, I think it's fair to say they portrayed him as both a friendly-looking guy and a beast/abomination.

  • @dark7element Right about that.

  • wait, the internationale was once the national anthem of the soviet union?

  • Hail to the tank driver, tank driver, tank driver, hail to the tank driver, tank driverman.

  • whats the name of the song the german is playing

  • @mastaODI56

    "Ach, du lieber Augustin".

  • Now someone should make one about the Ukranian famine in 1932-33, or the Katyn and Lviv massacres, or the gulags. And guess what, theres no nazis in these ones.

    Look for "The Soviet Story".

  • @bark99 Why? Nazis killed over 20 times as many people as were killed in those instances.

  • @bark99

  • @bark99 None of those were half as horrible as anything the fascists did or even the other allies did. There was no "Ukrainian famine." It affected the whole Soviet Union.

  • @IPlayWithFire135 you are a ignorant liberal, 7 million ukrainians were starved to death under the order of the Soviet Union in one year alone! your ignorance is what will bring the world another holodomor

  • @scottishchap2008

I'm a liberal? Haha. No one was starved on the orders of the USSR. The famine was the result of drought and botched collectivization, which probably wouldn't have happened had they done it years earlier.

The major theory today is that while it wasnt intentional, Stalin was a believer in "broken eggs make omelets" and he simply went with it to industrialize. The fact that famine was not limited to Ukraine immediately puts doubt on the Ukraine genocide conspiracy theory.

  • @IPlayWithFire135 its historical fact, it all came out when the soviet union collapsed they starved ukraine because they thought they were going to lose it to the nationalists, and what do you mean botched collectivization? they took the farmers food and the tools to grow food and let them starve to death, its called murder not "botched collectivization", your lack of respect for human life is sickening

  • @scottishchap2008 What an immature position. No one denies that there was massive human suffering during the Soviet Famine. And the authorities didn't just take everything and let them starve - famine happened during a massive drive to industrialize. Once the famine happened, exports were cut and aid was sent to famine affected areas of the USSR, not that there was anyone that had lots of food at the time. The archives show no plot. What they do show is crop failure and poor policy.

  • @IPlayWithFire135

Idiot, many people died in "golodomor" because there were requisitions of grain! It is not and never was a conspiracy theory, there are still people alive today who can remember and tell it.

  • @StopFear

Yes and they also died because of severe drought and chaos in planning. The government took grain in order to feed growing urban populations. The conspiracy theory is that it was all planned out by Stalin or whoever to kill off Ukrainians.

For what it's worth, the industrialization saved Europe down the road.

  • @IPlayWithFire135 i agree, american propaganda has got the minds of these idiots, they dont know truth from crap

  • @IPlayWithFire135 not another peace a shit commie...eat shit and die fucktard...

  • This animation is outstanding.

  • The first animation of this video is simply astounding. I honestly wish there were more well-constructed animation like this produced today!

  • @Wombatwarlord777

Any production year on that first film?

  • the internationale unites the human race

    glorie to the soviet anthem

  • Stalin ordered the writing of the Soviet anthem (Unbreakable union of free-born republics etc.) because he felt that an anthem dedicated to a vague international movement wasn't as patriotically motivating as an anthem dedicated only to the Soviet Union.

  • @sauron,

    Yes it does!

  • @sauron170 why not? the union doesn't exist anymore... and what was it if not the mirror image of state capitalism... your "military industrial complex"?

  • This propaganda animation is not too exacturated. This really is poor true. Nazies really killed russian and polish kids and the animation is very fine made. Much better than american old cartoons.

  • That and the stories of the nazis actually toying with their victims as seen here is true.

  • @saunasanttu246

While this may be true, it does not mean its not propaganda. Propaganda means they want to give you an opinion on it. Also, yes, Nazi are the ones who started the war, but they are not the only ones who committed crime against innocent people. When Soviet Union fought back, they killed and tortured people in Eastern Europe such as Poland, Estonia, Bulgaria, and in Germany.

  • @StopFear ...and took alfganistan too

  • @StopFear Still, no sides, Axis or Ally would have been at fault for killing anyone if Germany had not started both world wars. Not that it matters, they lost both times which is extremely lolzy. Germany in those days shouldn't have started fights they couldn't finish :P

  • @saunasanttu246 it is a very beautiful cartoon and is very moving, but i'm sorry, i can't see how this can even begin to compare to the works of Tex Avery or Disney in it's prime.

  • @saunasanttu246

Yes, I am absolutely sure that Nazi's killed innocent kids. They are inarguably the "bad side" However there are many records of Soviets killing and murdering civillians. Thats the only problem I have. Soviet army is guilty of many crimes and didnt even follow any international laws in treatment of prisoners, or its own soldiers. This cartoon is just an oversimplified abstract version of a historical events, that serves as propaganda. But yes , once again, Nazis are bad. ok

  • @StopFear Hypocrisy does not negate an argument unless the argument is about the hypocrite's integrity.

  • @TheHeidelbergKid

I disagree, because the "argument" here I see is that German soldier(s) are Barbarians who wouldn't mind killing children. This cartoon portrays the Russian child as the symbol of innocent Russia, in my opinion, who was attacked by the Nazi. So in this sense there is a claim about some integrity. In fact, every history book and film in USSR until mid 80s claimed absolute and total integrity on the Soviet side. I am saying it from personal experience.

  • @StopFear Oh come on, Germans did horrible crimes wherever they went. There were some exceptions but only to confirm the rule-that they did crimes. They blood stained the world twice in 20th century alone. On the other hand the Russians did the same on their way towards Berlin. But what would YOU do if your sister, your wife, your mother or your daughter where raped-killed-tortured or worse?Maybe payback? After all, this is war, this will always be and the Nazi's started the second. Germany both.

  • @sand451

Oh really? Are you an expert on European, Soviet, or World History? I do not defend the German Nazi's actions at all. Also , no I would not rape someone else in revenge, if something similar were done to my sister, wife , or mother. Fight with more vigor, maybe. Rape someone else? Soviets did not only kill many innocent people (not Germans) while fighting Germans back towards Berlin, there is documented genocide by Soviets before and after WW2. Truth hurts.

  • @StopFear Ok listen, no i am not an expert though i do not talk out of nothing, i have studied WWII very much because it was quite close to us, my granpa's father was at guerilla army against Germans in Greece. Absolutely yes, the Soviets did many crimes themshelves as I said especially at the Eastern Europe but do you know why? Because it was USSR and when the Germans invaded they were welcomed as liberators! They were considered traitors. I don't justify Soviet's actions, not at all!
