Toichivah from what I see if you are recieving professional tutoring then your tutor isn't doing it right or you aren't following the technique word for word. Try to attend some junior local tournaments for intemediates and look at the best players there.

Taufik had just played the tightest possible tumbling net shot without hitting the tape, there is nothing anyone can do when you have to deal with a top class shot like that, except maybe hope your opponent hits the frame on the net kill and fails the shot perhaps.

I checked it up for you. The shuttle was on Taufik's side of the court when he killed it. He hit the shuttle while it was on his side, so it is okay even if the racket goes on the opponent's side AFTER the hit it.

true that. but the problem with tennis is that you need the swing to hit, for the momentum to hit the tennis ball back not like badminton where you can use your wrist to reflect it. so with the swing you lose some time preparing for the ball coming towards you
