Just a question... would you recomend this plane? I'm thinking about getting it but all i hear is that its a really really bad plane! I don't want to waste £40 on something when i'm going to find that its bad.
I really like the plane, but it has tons of bugs. After a while flying the plane, I became aware of most of the things that cause it to crash the simulator, things that mainly involve the FMGS. Nevertheless, my simulator sometimes crashes without me clicking anything. I would say that out of 10 flights, I would complete 7 or 8. It's the only plane I fly and I'm more than happy with it.
@AdigA90 That's the only thing i'm woried about! The bugs!!! My friend who i completly trust in aviation!! But they said this kind of stuff with the Captain Sim 757. Yet that works fine with no issues for me :D
@xXxSexyEmoBoyxXx I think you should wait until they fix the bugs. I just opened their website and there is a new update, but on the forums I see that people are still having CTDs. I haven't flown in a while as I currently have exams, but I will try the update on wednesday maybe...
@xXxSexyEmoBoyxXx I tried the update, and I can say that everything is still the same if not a bit worse. When I select an airspeed it maintains a speed 5 knots higher, and 0.1 mach higher when I select a mach speed. I also had a CTD when I selected a STAR at OMDB (It used to happen before). I have completed a flight, and I had to avoid selecting a STAR, I just manually programmed one from the charts I have. I hope that helps.
1. The whole autopilot randomly turning off once i get to my assigned Alttitude so i then have to control it?
2. As soon as i take off i try and keep it stable untill 1000ft to put on AP but then it all goes wobbly and out of control...
3. I set my aircraft up on the start up from Cold & Dark to the point where its time to do the engine turn on. Then they wont unless i do CTRL + E to auto turn on them :/
@xXxSexyEmoBoyxXx Which version are you using? Because I haven't had any autopilot problems neither with 1.1 nor 1.3 so far, although with 1.3 it's a bit wobbly but not as you described. To start the plane, you have to have the apu running with apu bleed on, then turn the ENG mode select switch to IGN, and finally turn on the master switches one at a time (turn 2 on, wait for the engine to start, then turn 1 on.
@xXxSexyEmoBoyxXx Yeah, if you own the plane then you should become a member of the forums, and you will have access to the private ones too. The people there are quite helpful.
Ha estas alturas no creo yo que hagan la version advance, ya lleban mucho tiempo con la version basic y solo han sacado dos actualizaciones...asi que me da mucha pena.
