@creationofsociety Each ship is a seporate player, the touniments are limited to a set amount of points to put on the field (each ship in tourniment is valued at a set amount of points), and a cap of 10 players per compeating side.

The tourniments are just an annual thing as a show of strength and pride for each player created alliance. The switching between ships is just the Commintators spectating this controlled fight

I'm not entirely sold on the restoration of Logistics ships to the tournament. I thought it might be a good idea initially, but this match shows that if the enemy brings Logistics (they will) then you have to bring an ECM ship or your'e not going to kill ANYTHING. This match was COMPLETELY one-sided because The Guardian could rep unmolested and the Scimitar couldn't.

I must confess to being a bit confused by the addition of the Flycatcher though.

Not really. TRI for example didn't even bother with the oneiros and they killed the entire enemy team easily. Just gotta bring the right setup. I think a lot of teams are too concerned about their tank and they completely forget about the dps.

All in all, this match was some sort of cosmic practical joke. I would have liked to see IAC take away a win and salvage some of their old pride, but really, there was just no way. IAC had a massive decline since Tyrrax was outed and really, he was their best leader even if he was embezzling billions from them.
