  • dude it does matter witch positive you use the second one is the one that sends the positive to the next smoke if your using a series wire .. that one wire for all smokes in your installation...

  • Hello . This was a Very useful video . I just need to clear some doubt on this . I have seen this smoke detector installed at many systems wat it does is give alarm wen we hav smoke so y we just cant wire it up directly to our plc Analog input cards y do i need to hav a trip amplifier and barrier thing at my panel end?

  • @anees6695 this is difficult to comment on, reason being is the smoke in the video is designed to be used with alarm panels, however the smoke in question (4-wire models) is simply a set of dry contacts, if his plc uses that style of contacts then id say it would be ok.

  • Dude, Tutoring 4 wire smoke detector install without adding or even mentioning an EOL power supervision module?.........and a ESL 449C definitely doesnt self- supervise its power
