Who's Next from front to back is superb!

Every song is a classic. Every song is a winner.

People talk about how Led Zeppelin IV is a perfect rock album it indeed is a classic album but no disrespect to Zeppelin Who's Next is really the Perfect album.

Who's Next was surely an appt title because after this album who was next as far as competition was it the Stones, was it Floyd, or Zeppelin... Naw! For my money, The Who at their peak were the greatest live band ever!

The original lead guitarist on this album was Leslie West. The record company said the fans would never accept it and made Pete go back in the studio and re-record it. The original with Leslie was just released a couple of years ago.

I believe you mean 60s and 70s band... They decided to quit in 1983. Anyway, at one point in the beginning of the 70s, when Beatles broke up, they and Stones were the most popular bands in the world. The Who are considered to be the greatest live band of all time and the loudest untill 1983.
