In watching this vid, I cannot help but make the comparison between Bowie and Albarn. David is 57 years old in this clip. Don't know Albarn's age but has anyone other than myself noticed the passion put into their performances? Bowie is much more active and tends to truly enjoy performing. He is always smiling and puts so much more effort into making the audience feel the meaning of music. Albarn vocals are great too but he lacks the commitment and heart that Bowie emits while on stage.

You can tell a that Damon Albarn seems a little restrained somehow when singing this song with Bowie. Every now and again he wants to cut loose on his own somehow and do his own rendition, but he's also well aware of the fact that he's with Bowie and that this is a Bowie song. Don't get me wrong I love Blur/Gorillaz/Albarn. It's just happens to be that this is a Bowie song, and Albarn in on Bowie turf with Bowie musicians. Cool duo.
