Also true, I agree with that as well. I played that game for over a year, and I never once got a single article of clothing that actually boosted any of my stats, and the only scroll I used was Shidoken (excuse the spelling, if it's wrong). I never used astros, and the biggest purchase I ever made with the regular in-game currency (also forget the name) was Shidoken itself. What I meant is that in very early stages in the game edging is needed, not that said scrolls suck.

Indeed, I don't play this game anymore, but when I stopped playing I was of a decent level (and of decent skill). Once I could actually survive in a good fist fight (+exos), I stopped with the edging strategies. Now that being said, if I'm playing on a map like that one with the big moon in the background and the canyon setting (I forget the name), edging is really all you can do. Heck sometimes I'd play on that map and accidentally edge someone off when I didn't mean to.

It's not even funny how many times I see these in Glacier. I'm fighting, and then suddenly they run away to get an edge that I usually fall for, because it's easier to run and edge than pursue and kill, as they're ready, and you're not. Just a waste of my time.
