  • Christ, that first change is incredible.

  • 一生ものの名曲!

  • Why have I only just discovered This Heat! It's so unfair. When they "shift" their works it's like I go weak at the knees.

  • forgot how much i love this song <3

  • superbe

  • Released in 1980 and it could have been released today- This Heat were so unappreciated

  • repetition when used well is devastating. love this

  • Brilliant vid! It perfectly fits the song.

Loive This Heat! Greatest bad ever, far far far far far ahead of their time. Still very modern!

  • Utter mesmeric beauty, perfectly enhanced by the seemingly bespoke visuals.

  • AMAZING song and video

  • Absolutely amazing! I thought I heard everything by This Heat but this somehow escaped my ears for quite a while!

  • This is amazingly good, digging on this like a grave.

  • Loved your video. I'd heard other tracks by This Heat but not this one. When it hits that killer locked groove the sound and the pictures seem to mesh together beautifully.

  • if you like this, listen to ugly kid joe

  • @CultureCunt This sounds nothing like Ugly Kid Joe, thank god.

  • amazingly ahead of it's time...

  • This is the song that made This Heat click for me, This Heat helped me connect with Post Punk (at least the odd side of post punk). Before this I never realized how proggy punk could be. Great visuals.

  • its just incredible

  • If you like this listen to Laddio Bolocko.

  • @GuiltedbytheSun Good shout mate.

  • @Cymrolerpwl

    ... 'international'

  • if you like this check out acid mothers temple

  • Awesome song

  • exekente!! me suena como a victoria :3

  • Fucking sick

  • this is superb!

  • nothing compares to this heat

  • 素晴らしい

  • This Heat

  • I love it. :)

  • Just fabulous...

  • I love This Heat with a mad passion. Total sound and vision!

  • Can't understand how I missed this band. This is excellent.

  • ah, those bottles at 2:12!! and the shake up in the beat - could listen to that until I die!! BRILLIANT!!

  • really this captures the magic of this band better than anything else they recorded. the video might be 85 but the record came out in 1980 - by 85 they had split up

  • this song is so amazing!!!

ahead of its time is a complete understatement!

i think this song is ahead of right now!

the other day i was thinking it would be amazing if fred frith and charles hayward were in a band together...then i found out charles hayward plays with massacre i thought things were bad...but earth looks brighter now sorry for rambling...love this song! peace

  • totally agree with you! Been playing this track and also Deceit a lot again recently. Fantastic. Saw them a few times, first in 1979. One of the best bands ever.

  • haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyywaaaaaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrd!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! you rock

    fuckin xcellent

  • "intro" is so accurate and energetic that I can listen for next "5 minutes two tones" without annoy and I still thinking it`s great! song..

  • Genius!!

  • played a support gig to charles hayward solo in limerick ireland in 2007. still an amazing drummer and a really nice guy too.

    lux interior r.i.p

  • suuch a good song. this heat are amazing.

  • LOVE THEM. HAYWARD IS GOD!!!!

  • I'm so glad this song/video exists on youtube.

  • me 2. This Heat were brilliant and beyond their time. Charles Hayward was a brilliant drummer, much like Holger Czukay was. Charles Bullen looked like Jesus. Remember seeing him walking around in Brixton. He just looked bloody amazing. I am so glad that this band was around when I was young. Their concerts were bloody amazing and very mooving. Bloody brilliant!!!

  • Holger Czukay played bass, dude.

  • @dotts64 I believe you are thinking of Jaki Liebezeit. Holger Czukay was the bass player for Can.

  • @dotts64 Love Can and Holger Czukay, but Czukay was the bassist/arranger for the band. I think you mean to compare Hayward to Jaki Liebezeit.

  • @dotts64 holger czukay was bass player. Like Jaki Liebezeit you mean. I do not agree with that comparison, since Jaki isn't human but a robot :) This Heat: my most beloved CD box :)

  • the most under-rated UK band of all time

  • Excellent choice of images for this music.Great!!! Thanks for posting.

  • love this band anything of fall of saigon on video?

  • thanks for this cool dvd

  • Aaah yes..........

  • awesome

  • This is great, thanks. Imagery reminds me of Geoffrey Jones.

  • Nice comment, I only came across Geoffrey Jones work a year or so back - the BFI DVD is great stuff..

  • love these guys. check out haywards solo stuff. amazing too. don't forget camberwell now!
