use the Active Autowerke piggyback computer, it wont affect your warranty because once the system is removed everything goes back to original spec. But if for any reason you have to take your car to the dealership DO NOT forget to remove the system or the warranty is gone.

Assuming you know how a turbocharger works. The BOV relieves pressure built up between the turbine wheel and throttle valve (butterfly). When you let off the throttle you close the throttle butterfly, the air that was supposed to enter the engine now has no place to go, thats where a BOV comes to play. The now trapped air would have no where to go and either cause massive turbolag, or cause the turbine wheel to spin backwards and destroy the bearings. So a BOV opens and lets out the air.

What have all the ricers grown up? BOVs on a 335? Until they figure out how to upgrade the direct injection fuel delivery along with a big turbo, there is no reason why any N54 engine should have a BOV.

335i come stock with a turbo, therefore there should be BOV

BoV on a 335i is not ricer. 335i comes with twin turbo stock :3

Your point being? Technically most turbo cars, including the 335, come with a bypass valve (BPV) and not a blowoff valve. The bypass valve returns the air back into the air intake system instead of purging it to the atmosphere.

i think the active sounds better than the hks the woosh beats the wistle anyday but i can see where u may get sick of it and want the other after a while . . so buy both! haha and change after a few months.

Well if you have a lease Dinan is recognized by BMW and AA is not but all the processors are the same, they give the same amount of HP I reckon it's 89 more?

hi i personally think its the worst sounding bov ever,i hated it from the first time i heard it.ofcourse its very good in performance- hks=top performance - but in sound pleasure imo it sucks big time.. :)
