About the eyeless woman in Fatal Frame, she´s guided by the sound, if you walk or simply move the camera too much while in the finder mode she will sneak behind you, also after take a shoot of her she would that most of the times at least.

The eyeless ghosts are made worse by back story they are the woman chosen to be the 'oni' that help chose the future 'rope maiden' and other roles in the horrid ritual that prevents the 'disaster' they have no eyes because they were forced to wear a mask with spikes at the eye-holes you even get a flashback from the first person perspective of the person putting on the mask if memory serves
