  • @TheMagicMom you have no idea how much i like you. you are awesome. your name mixed w what you just said, your opinions/taste in music is plenty. keep being rad

  • Nice!

  • How would I go about playing this on a guitar? Please?

  • @grnadpamist I've always used the Dmin, C, G, G7 chords in some degree, but I can guarantee it's not theoretically correct

  • for over 15 years i only knew about their song SHAME.... i'm so glad i'm finding these songs now....

  • Great vocals, only the mature can appreiciate it. The woman voice is priceless. They seem to very discipline people as testified by their music. Thanks for posting this.

  • The fact they live in a sick religious delusional bubble makes it very hard to listen too. Good music made by nutters.

  • @MissEgasMoniz you should shut your damn mouth you dont know anything about mormonism. instead of boasting your ignorance all over the internet, why dont you go read a book?

  • @punksush1 Dear Spud - Here is some LDS scripture highlights for your ignorant eyes. 1. Mandatory Tithing (stupid) 2. No coffee, no drugs, no tobacco allowed (naive) 3. Pre-existence spirits (Huh?) 4. Prophet as official canon (sillier than Christianity) 5. LDS people think Jesus visited the America's (lol - too funny) 6. Black people were not allowed to have the priesthood until 1978. Females are not allowed to have the priesthood (medieval). Nutters the lot of them.

  • This reminds me of John Frusciante's solo work, if you like this song, then you should check him out

  • wow.

  • amazing.

  • Such short lyrics, but such strong words.

  • Anyone who mentions Low and Radiohead in the same breath needs a slap.

  • @SarahMacgregor What if you say "Low are way better than radiohead" without taking a breath?

  • @psychogroupie118 Than your over-thinking darling.

  • i like it for eclipse soundtraaaack esta cancion esta bastante bien para la banda sonora eclipse

  • Great song :)

  • I'm shattered. I just found out that the gilr and guy are married and are Mormons.

  • @shotwithadiamond Nothing wrong with either of those things.

  • Oh my god. It's not the beatles, it's not thom York, it's fucking Low. If you don't dig them for who they are, then you just don't dig them. Nobody does what Low does, nobody. Not that they are my favorite band but their genre is anything but reproduced.

  • gorgeous - Don't try to seem them live in a noisy bar, you'll miss too much

  • Radiohead's contemporary ;-)

  • Bah...only band I can think of that comes close to this is Galaxy 500 and they were around long before Tom York.

  • @shotwithadiamond Actually, Radiohead released "Creep" in 1992, whereas Low's first LP & EP were released in 94. But, both Radiohead and Low are great bands.

  • @darkcoupon

I said Galaxie 500 were around long before Radiohead and not Low. Galaxie 500 formed in 1987 and broke up in 1991.

  • The guitar on this track is reminiscent of the beatles

  • ehm... which guitar?

  • If you meant which beatles music I think it is tommorrow never knows from the revolver album.

  • I meant : "which guitar" are you talking about? Alan only sings here.

Sincerely I not even see Tomorrow Never Knows big influence here ( opposite to Chemical Brothers - Setting Sun)

  • excuse me - this is a completely different song! lol If I can find it for you - I'll let you know!

  • The song is called when I go deaf !

  • maybe the album version of breaker, because it has an incredible guitar track.

  • what's the keyboard thing they're using in this song?

  • simply <3

  • whats the keyboard instrument? Sounds like a melodeon!

  • amazing!

  • Bought Low's "Long Division" and "I Could Live in Hope" at a record store in Minneapolis, MN in 1996. At first listen I just thought it was good music to shoot dope to. Now that I've been sober for a long time, I see how beautiful and pregnant with meaning their music really is. Thank you Alan and Mimi.

  • Keyboard guy seems nervous...

  • I would be

  • I could listen to this forever. I hope to see them live in the future.

  • They're playing a free show in the Lake Harriet Band Shell on 9/12 in Mpls!

  • I got shivers down my spine!

  • I am yet again, thrown into an instant trance and held in the beauty of what these humans are doing. They are at the top of their game. They know excatly how to give somebody a reason to go back to them. what an experience.

  • This is my absolute favorite song by Low behind Point of Disgust. They are amazing live!

  • The lyrics are impressiv, I wish for more ;D

  • i always wish this song went on and on with more lyrics

this one makes me cry. i saw it at the Metro in chicago and they did a rock version of it, and it just exploded through the room. it was like an event

  • Damn, I'm a straight guy, and I think Alan is a good looking guy.

  • Is Alan the lead singer? Still prefer the cartoon version!

  • yup, and his wife is the other singer. I think they are a mormon couple. Weird ehh?

  • does anyone know where i can get the chords for the organ transcribed to guitar?? REALLY want to use these beautiful chords on a project i'm working on.

    thanks

    joe

  • Dm, C, Gsus4, G

  • fuckin brilliant stuff!

  • Biggest band from Duluth. Yea

  • got goosebumps a few seconds before reading thevials comment. spot on mate

  • Mindblowing

  • Awesome.

  • so simple.. and great

  • Just discovered Low about two weeks ago, only heard Drums and Guns so far but this stuff is just amazing. Thanks for posting these!

  • Low is one of the greatest bands ever. If you are into indie rock/pop and don't listen to Low, you really ain't getting the full experience, partner.

  • lol, who knew perfect execution of music theory and harmony, coupled with a nice does of creativity could register such hatred in someone?

    Oh, wait, I'm sorry. Jealously.

  • Haha, sometimes the responses to trolls are just as bad as the trolls. Perfect execution of music theory? Wtf does that even mean? Did I miss the part where they stopped playing to explain Schenkerian analysis?

  • schenker sucks.

  • it's ok to be lonely. but it's not ok to be annoying.

  • If you hate the band so much why are you watching a video of them?

  • you're a juvenile piece of crap. go whine about it more anonymously to people who don't care.

  • I think Alan Sparhawk has the most beautiful voice I've ever heard. Hands down.

  • he does have a fantastic voice. but it's really he and mimi harmonizing that gives me goosebumps.

  • I'd forgotten (?!!!) about this song until I saw this a couple of months back. I think that this version rocks - the simplicity scares people because its too, like - OMD!! - you know, simple.

    Great band.

  • Beautifully done!:)

  • This band is on top of their game. Due to the sparseness of the instrumentation, the high range, and long, sustained notes, this song is very hard to sing, yet they seem to do it effortlessly and seem to have great fun in doing it. Also see the music video for this song, which is a good metaphor for what has been going in the world for the past 5 or so years.

  • wonderful

  • Great but was that auto focus? For shame.

  • This is pretty rad, but I want to see the performance of Sandinista!
