@TheMagicMom you have no idea how much i like you. you are awesome. your name mixed w what you just said, your opinions/taste in music is plenty. keep being rad
Great vocals, only the mature can appreiciate it. The woman voice is priceless. They seem to very discipline people as testified by their music. Thanks for posting this.
@MissEgasMoniz you should shut your damn mouth you dont know anything about mormonism. instead of boasting your ignorance all over the internet, why dont you go read a book?
@punksush1 Dear Spud - Here is some LDS scripture highlights for your ignorant eyes. 1. Mandatory Tithing (stupid) 2. No coffee, no drugs, no tobacco allowed (naive) 3. Pre-existence spirits (Huh?) 4. Prophet as official canon (sillier than Christianity) 5. LDS people think Jesus visited the America's (lol - too funny) 6. Black people were not allowed to have the priesthood until 1978. Females are not allowed to have the priesthood (medieval). Nutters the lot of them.
Oh my god. It's not the beatles, it's not thom York, it's fucking Low. If you don't dig them for who they are, then you just don't dig them. Nobody does what Low does, nobody. Not that they are my favorite band but their genre is anything but reproduced.
@shotwithadiamond Actually, Radiohead released "Creep" in 1992, whereas Low's first LP & EP were released in 94. But, both Radiohead and Low are great bands.
Bought Low's "Long Division" and "I Could Live in Hope" at a record store in Minneapolis, MN in 1996. At first listen I just thought it was good music to shoot dope to. Now that I've been sober for a long time, I see how beautiful and pregnant with meaning their music really is. Thank you Alan and Mimi.
I am yet again, thrown into an instant trance and held in the beauty of what these humans are doing. They are at the top of their game. They know excatly how to give somebody a reason to go back to them. what an experience.
i always wish this song went on and on with more lyrics
this one makes me cry. i saw it at the Metro in chicago and they did a rock version of it, and it just exploded through the room. it was like an event
does anyone know where i can get the chords for the organ transcribed to guitar?? REALLY want to use these beautiful chords on a project i'm working on.
the band is only great to you.and im getting the experience all right. low and alan sparhawk and company, can all go fuck them selves partner i hate him, the band, the music etc... i have my reasons.
Haha, sometimes the responses to trolls are just as bad as the trolls. Perfect execution of music theory? Wtf does that even mean? Did I miss the part where they stopped playing to explain Schenkerian analysis?
I'd forgotten (?!!!) about this song until I saw this a couple of months back. I think that this version rocks - the simplicity scares people because its too, like - OMD!! - you know, simple.
This band is on top of their game. Due to the sparseness of the instrumentation, the high range, and long, sustained notes, this song is very hard to sing, yet they seem to do it effortlessly and seem to have great fun in doing it. Also see the music video for this song, which is a good metaphor for what has been going in the world for the past 5 or so years.

The fact they live in a sick religious delusional bubble makes it very hard to listen too. Good music made by nutters.

I said Galaxie 500 were around long before Radiohead and not Low. Galaxie 500 formed in 1987 and broke up in 1991.

If you meant which beatles music I think it is tommorrow never knows from the revolver album.

I meant : "which guitar" are you talking about? Alan only sings here.
Sincerely I not even see Tomorrow Never Knows big influence here ( opposite to Chemical Brothers - Setting Sun)
