Yeah they're doing a new one this Xmas and I wish they weren't . I adore the three series and the first special (Nana's death) but after that it went very wrong. I don't understand why they kept it going. The Golden Cup Cup was a nightmare.

Put as many red thumbs downs next to my comment as you want but even though this episode was funny, its crap compared to the original series, much like last christmas' episode. If the BBC wants to broadcast a gag related comedy then they should either make some more episodes of 'My Family' or make a new comedy altogether, they should not be ruining what was a brilliant realistic sitcom which many viewers actually used to relate to.

The newer versions of The Royle Family are pretty stupid because the characters are totally different from the older series.

Joe last night was actually asking people questions whereas in the older episodes Jim and Dave hated being in his company because he never spoke a word.

I think they try too hard with these episodes, they should go back to the old style episode's instead of trying to be like Benidorm.
