I feel the price of medical care in America is too much. I know people who were insured and now they have nothing because they can't foot hospital bills for a person who died. I was there. At one point all the shouters stood up in response to something Moran said. At that point you realized how few of them there were. I saw a half dozen behind me, 4 in front of me, and less than a dozen pockets of 3 or 4 people scattered throughout. They were loud, but they were perhaps 50 people out of the 2500 in attendance. When only 2% of the people are yelling, they are not significant. Our Congressman can safely ignore them. He wasn't going to get their vote anyway.
I am completely against any form of a single payer option just as the people in the video. But it is so unproductive to yell and scream chants when given a chance to ask questions and voice opinions in a way that the rest of those in the building could hear them. The man did say he would give them a chance to speak, but they kept chanting. That doesn't do any good when you have a legitiment chance for everyone to hear your question and thoughts. I applaud the antis who asked tough, thoughtful questions and listened to the answers, not people whose only goal was to disrupt and intimidate.

I was there. At one point all the shouters stood up in response to something Moran said. At that point you realized how few of them there were. I saw a half dozen behind me, 4 in front of me, and less than a dozen pockets of 3 or 4 people scattered throughout. They were loud, but they were perhaps 50 people out of the 2500 in attendance. When only 2% of the people are yelling, they are not significant. Our Congressman can safely ignore them. He wasn't going to get their vote anyway.

I am completely against any form of a single payer option just as the people in the video. But it is so unproductive to yell and scream chants when given a chance to ask questions and voice opinions in a way that the rest of those in the building could hear them. The man did say he would give them a chance to speak, but they kept chanting. That doesn't do any good when you have a legitiment chance for everyone to hear your question and thoughts. The Department of Verteran Affairs is nowhere near failing.
I attended a public University, ASU, and recieved a great education as have many millions of citizens.
Federally Guaranteed Student Loans WORK. It gives people the opportunity to go to college and is deficit neutral.

National Parks are not run by the state. That's why there are State parks and National Parks. Same with State prisons and Federal prisons; they are totally different.
Federal VA benefits are not determined by the state. VA Hospitals are not run by the state. VA Retirement payments are not issued by the state. These are federal programs.
I don't mind private companies making my sandwhiches, but I would trust a Federal Insurance Program more than I would trust United Health Group.

I voted for Ron Paul in the primary, he was my guy and in my state of AZ we had a HUGE grass roots movement for Dr Paul. I donated money to a candidate for the first time ever and I thought for sure the Revolution was going to work somehow.

I was there. It was Randall Terry and a handful of people, not hundreds. The crowd was 80+% in favor of the public option (what one expects in Reston). Once he was escorted out, there was the loudest cheer of the evening. And I'll be frank here, I don't care how many hecklers there are, if that's all they are and all they have to offer. I applaud the antis who asked tough, thoughtful questions and listened to the answers, not people whose only goal was to disrupt and intimidate.
