we had both selectv and on tv they played the last dragon so many times, i got tired of watching it i think my mom and her boyfriend payed 10-15.00 a month it was in los angles
We had SelecTv in Milwaukee from ~1979-1984 when Time Warner came in. I remember the boys on the block trading tips on how to jack the signal late at night so they could watch the soft porn. :/
Was Sacramento the biggest TV market without Cable TV? I couldn't believe they came in 1987? That late? Gosh, we've had cable on & off since August 1994, since there's more channels than broadcast TV, & it;s better, too.

My dad always kept the 4 digit code a secret. How many remember that?

@fijiboy68 What was that- a code to be able to watch it at all, or did it just lock out the nightly porn movies?

@eyeh8nbc . It was on the front of the box. I think it locked the whole box.
