The chord progression for the part where you say you've never heard dave play the chord is incorrect. First chord is right but you don't slide down two. I'm not good at explaining it though lol. Other than that keep it up.

great job but "eseime"'s right...on the second chord or whatever on the chorus isn't just a slide down its pointer finger on 6th string 1st fret and pinkie 5th string third fret. Great job tho man...

You can also play it like tim does on the radio city dvd. Just like save me (G barre with a 3rd string walk up 0 3 5) but with the joy ride riff tacked on (2nd string 3rd fret slide up to 2nd) With a g barre and regular c chord for the other part.

For the chorus try your pointer finger on the 1st fret 6th string and your pinkie finger on the 3rd fret 5th string for the second chord. Besides that I think you have it. peace
