Yidaki mir make music western players or NTS (non traditional styles) make sound.

@balandaplaya There are lots of NTS players these days who make more than sound, I still prefer trad but at the same time have lots of respect for anyone who practices constantly whatever style they play.

I look at the other way round. I think the traditional players have far greater sound and feel to their playing than contemporary foreign didge players. So it is the traditionalists who give the didgeridoo its real colour

What a simpleton like you needs to realise that is the arnhem landers play yirdaki as a rhythmic instrument. Like a drum. Their objective is not to make as many different melodies as they can on it.

lol i left a comment a year ago i totally forgot about it.  I hold my hand up to not knowing anything about this instrument and i'm not a simpleton for not knowing that... All i was saying is that (in my opinion) it was just the same thing over and over again. It didn't really change at all.
