Li Mei's endings in Deadly Alliance and Deception were actually hatted by fans. Both of her endings were tragic endings, one where she becomes a slave to Shang Tsung and Quan Chin and the other where she turned on the forces of light and joined Onaga. So they finally gave her a decent ending in Armageddon where she finally gets revenges on Tsung and Chi for destroying her village. As a Lie Mei fan, I hated her first two endings and was glad she got an actual ending in Armageddon.

hmmmm.... I see why the franchise was eventually put to sleep.

there are too many 16 bit era design conventions; gamers want the quality of that time period, not that games be designed the way they were back then. This is basically a 16 bit game in 3D for the PS2.

Not entirely bad.... but that is like making a Hollywood movie using a 50's style, with 50's acting, using modern cameras.
