  • FYI cougcoupe, the gentleman featured in the video does indeed plan on joining the military and serving his country were the ban to be repealed. We thank you in advance for doing your research before making blatantly false claims to prove an incorrect point.

  • They really don't want to serve, you just want to make a political point. The second they change that law, you'll run with your tail tucked between your legs when that recruiter calls you back.

  • Well they can sign up to be part time Guard/Reserve military members, once a month. Besides, you don't think his political point is a good one?

  • I think its a good political point if its a point made by somebody who really wants to serve, this guy didn't. He just wants to make a mockery of the recruiters who don't make the rules.

  • cougcoupe, but how do you know that for sure? Did he say that he's just mocking the recruiter in the video? What if he is actually wanting to join?

  • continued for cougcoupe, plus regardless of his motives, he does have a good point in essentially pointing out the futile policy of Don't Ask Don't Tell. If the draft were to happen (God forbid), the DADT policy is great segway for folks to say they're openly gay to avoid the draft. Would you agree or disagree on that?

  • I applaud you guys! Keep it up and keep us posted over the bgltsa open list ;-)
