  • Ralph Nader is running, he is on the ballot in 45 states in counting and in another 5 states as a write in.

  • So much depends upon getting in the debates. And despite popular demand for candidates outside the two-party system to participate, I don't think it will happen. Representative government is broken, broken, broken...I don't know what it will take to get the people to see that they are the answer.

  • The level of resentment among Americans, particularly the younger generation, is at a level I have never seen.

The baby boomers for the most part appear as stupid and clueless as ever.

It's like we all woke up one day and realized almost everything we learned in school about America is a lie.

  • I tried sending e-mails to the addresses given at the end of the video but they could not be delivered. Does anyone know the correct e-mail address?

  • word.

  • You have no objections to it, therfor,e you are comfortable with it. That's good that you're at least willing to admit what you support, rather then pass it off as nothing serious.

Both of his filibusters faile din the Senate. The Pentagon papers did not end the draft, they embarrassed the Military.

If you're willing to admit you're ok with something like L.O.S.T., then I don't get why you'd try and lie here.

  • Really?? Oh...this is the ker-pow moment!

    /watch?v=8xYhPtomwCg

    Watch the whole video.

Oh and, feel free to debunk my other statement, rather then typing in a few dots.

  • You think the draft and nuclear testing in America ended because of Mike? Lol..wow, you should hook up with Obama some time.

Law of The Sea Treaty...you endorse it?

    /watch?v=D5Y24goa6o4

    /watch?v=WmfXczSGR7w

Well, at least you admit to supporting something fascist, unlike other certain sheeple on here.

  • What does this have to do with religon?! I think that's my question for you.

    Bigotry? Oh...here we go:

Bragged about ending the draft and stopping nuclear testing, when both of his filibusters failed and the American government tested their weapons, regardless of Mike's demands.

Talks about the Constitution, yet supports the Law of the Sea Treaty, which, if you knew anything about, would realize it's more dangerous then the PATRIOT Act or Directive 51.

  • Calls Ron Paul a privitization advocate and Black Water panderer, when, he clearly knows nothing about either false statement.

    That about covers the surface.

  • Oh, and he's a liar. He said the black popualtion in the prison system was 70%, when the real figure is 40%.

  • Religous views? LOL! Mike Gravel is an atheist dude..so how can I talk about his religon?

I refered to bigotry in the sense of his hypocrisy and lies.

  • What does religon have to do with this discussion?

  • Crazy, ignorant, stupid, and hostile is indeed an ugly combination. Combine that with elitist attitudes and you've got grade A internet trash. Support of politicians serves as a pathethic ruse for their vacuity.

  • Well come on! You talk shit about Ron, his supporters, and everyone else who doesn't agree with mike's bigotry....but dare we speak about the stupid remarks you and other Gravelites speak of, and the fact that your canidates an emotional string puller, you start crying!

I mean on your page, you talk all this crap about the political game, so surely you can identify a politician (Unless of course, Mike blinded you).

  • damn, you just called out mike on his bigotry.

    ok, I gotta sleep now.

  • I think I just discovered a black hole. Must not get sucked in...

  • Hahaha...priceless gutter spew from the left. Anything new here? When in doubt, deny and lie. It's basicaly the only thing Gravel sheeple can do at this point. Ron Paul beat Mike across the board, in everything from delegates to support. So naturaly, you Gravelites are pissed off.

Not sure why you're not as pissed off at Hilary or Obama, considering Gravel is just like them. Nothing different, save for maybe the war. Damn, if only Mike would've topped the charts in soldier donations!

    LOL!

  • those damn leftists

  • I thought you said Mike was a libertarian? :)

    Talk about the wrong party!

  • Evidence? Where's the video of their debate hmmm? Where's a record of the conversation?

    Thought so.

  • record? what record? what conversation? ;)

  • When in doubt, block dissent?

    Censorship=facism

Funny how all the Gravelites are convinced Mike is like Ron Paul, despite the fact that Mike's the one who flip-flopped.

  • Mike is like Ron Paul? Missed that memo from the Gravelites!

Gravelites--is that what they are called in your alternative universe

  • At least my "universe" has some common sense to it.

    Seperation of church and state

    Strict interpertation of the Constituion

    Clean and clear voting record

NOT supporting unconstituional acts like LOST or the PATRIOT ACT

NOT lying because you're desperate for votes.

But what can you expect from the man? Back in 07', he had a quarter where he had 500 bucks cash on hand, and $90,000 in debt!

If he can debt his campaign, he can debt this nation.

  • actually this was one of the saner parts of our conversation, but I am having fun and it's on my terms like you know who. ;)

  • Why? Because it involves not asking hardball questions? Man..I was watching the Democrat debates, and Gravel of course avoided the real issues through and through.

Are you threatening to block me? Well....that's nothing new. Though, I'd have expected that from a neo-con shill. Apple does not fall far from the tree I guess.

  • you're good. you never flinch.

  • And you never cease to amaze with your lack of maturity. Seriously, calling people "Pure trash" without a direct response to hide away a rebuttal? And still, the Gravel sheeple muster the audacity to call someone a pedophile for delivering baby's!

Using that same logic, I could call Gravel a Judeophobe for teaching Judaism.

But, it's the military industrial complex. What can we expect?

  • oh come on, the pure trash thing has got be intentional, right?

  • "And still, the Gravel sheeple muster the audacity to call someone a pedophile for delivering baby's!"

Whatever you name means, you certainly deliver what it implies.

  • Since you're ignorant to mythology.... it implies that the thought of ancient, short, devilish imps is garbage. But hey, don't let me get in the way of your luciferan preference!

Your name implies what most of us know: Mike needs a few more official channels :).

  • ah so it's "pures r trash"? I am bit ignorant on mythology, so you'd have to educate me on this. seems like a clever name.

the name of this channel is not actually my own, but I like it.

  • I sense satire, so perhaps if you opened a few highschool books on the Syrians, you'd know what I mean.

Not your own? Funny...now you can disown your own words at will! Must be fun to be able to abandon logic whenever you choose.

  • no, actually I'm ignorant on that. no mythology expert here.

these are all my videos, but the name of this channel was not my choosing.

  • Good. So the fact that you immediately attempted to associate my screen name with some 8 year old insult, is a fine example of what's to be expected from you, class wise.

    I'm sure it wasn't...right.

  • you've got me pegged

the transfer was a secretive deal, no record will be available for you ;)

  • Ummm...he says he's asked to meet with Ron Paul, which, he hasn't. Also he asked to "organize a petition and meetup group" to advocate a live conversation. Not the same thing as calling Ron up and asking for a debate.

    What a funny guy.

    "Are you for the Constitution"

    "You betcha' I am!"

Yet, he endorses a group which has a Bill out now to supercede our Constitution! You said he wasn't like Dennis Kucinich??? LOL!

  • There's nothing "photo shopped" about history. Aswell as nothing photoshopped about the fact that you Gravelites have shown an almost disturbing distain for the RP campaign. And yet, you fail to explain why.

Why do Mike's supporters always have to burn bridges, just because Gravel isn't doing so hot in the elections?

  • Oh, and remember how back in 07' all the gravelites were talking about Ron, a libertarian, hijacking the conservative party? Ha! Look at Gravel now, imposing his left wing views to the independants!

    Irony is brilliant

  • no, but it is somewhat amusing to hear about the alternative universe you live in

  • Alternative universe? Lol, ok.

You're right. We found WMD's in Iraq, George Bush is an honest man, and we can never critisize liars, because it creates alternate views. Especialy one slike Gravel, who only sold his draft story because he was desperate for support.

Yup, we're a couple universes apart. Thank god!

  • Man I love this quote given the... context (!):

"I just love you fucking sheeple. Your ignorance and intoleranc eof other people's views astounds me."

  • Even without context, even a fake libertarian dumbass like Gravel could figure sarcasm.

But yes, you are intolerant of other's views. Though, I must say. It's ironic to call a physician a pedohpile, since you rely on them for your very existence at the moment.

    Hypocritical claims from hypocritical neantherdals.

  • "Though, I must say. It's ironic to call a physician a pedohpile, since you rely on them for your very existence at the moment."

Never give up on a winner.

  • sound-bite fest! No debunking here, jsut a sa dman and his even sadder canidate.

Mike lost becaus ehe had the audacity to yell at Hilary during the debates for her lies (which, was a bit cool). yet, he lyed about ending the draft.

Basic disrespect to the 58,000 dead.

  • the varied mispellings are also a nice touch

Speaking of which, have you seen the latest "You suck at Photoshop"? Good episode:

    watch?v=wH6-twlgJhU

  • Hypocrite. Capitalize, lack of periods, and missed a comma.

What do we expect from Gravel sheeple? Honesty? Hell yes! But only if it has nothing to do with Mike Gravel. LOL

You can bitch, and moan, and cry all you want about the "comparison" between Ron and Mike, but at least Ron Paul didn't tell a sweet little lie because he's desperate for votes.

Half of Gravel's story was fiction anyway1 So there you go.

  • got me there

    missed a period

    oh no again

    fuck

  • I'm not the grammar nazi "mate".

  • spelling, grammar, mathematics, it's all good

it's a great series by the way, learned some photoshop also

  • Shame you failed to implement such fine tools to your advantage when engaged in intellectual discourse. Not that math is on the side of Mike Gravel at the moment.

  • yeah, I wished I could have used photoshop also

  • Ad hominem attacks? Typical. But hey, when you're the kind of guy like gravel, there's no limits to stupdity.

(Such as we should jail/execute the soldiers for fighting in Iraq)

Gun confiscation, socialist government regulation...all under the gravel banner. Good thing no one really gives a damn about the shitbag. :D

  • "Ad hominem attacks? Typical. But hey, when you're the kind of guy like gravel, there's no limits to stupdity."

That's another good quote. I think you may be a comic genius. F33bs definitely has competition here, but he is a little more subtle. I am not sure which approach I like more. They're similar, but an entirely different shtick and that's the beauty of it all. I'd like to see you two argue.

  • Oh...are you going to cry now? You've had nothing but shit-staining over Ron for 30+ comments. It started with you denouncing Ron's work, making excuses for Gravelite supporters calling a doctor a "pedophile",a nd moved to your denial of Gravel being a liar.

There's no competition here, sorry! Neo-con talking points just because Ron whooped the shit out of Gravel. That's why Mike supporters have resorted to attacking Ron Paul videos.

  • You got me. I am crying and I also peed my pants.

  • Yeah, remember the time when Ron totally called out Gravel on the draft in the debates? That was totally awesome.

  • Shame they've never debated. Poor old Mike does not have the gall for it. He knows the fact that he supported something so despotist as the LOST Treaty would devastate his claims of being for the Constitution.

    That and his policy.

  • Why do I engage in these exercises of the absurd? Maybe "pure trash" in the name tempted me. I think I'll go to sleep now, so I can listen to the debates tomorrow.

  • Yeah..and you comapred Ron's legacy to Gravel's because Mike is a liar.

Yup, context is a great thing!

  • I think Mike is my favorite liar. :D

  • too bad this didn't happened earlier; it would have helped a lot with honors

  • Gravel needs them. 500 grand and no states even! Probably the worst shot a liar's ever made for canidacy, lol.

  • LOL!

  • No problem. Good to know that's one less corporate puppet who will dick around in the elections.

"I ended the draft because it was the right thing to do."

"I did not have sexual relations with that woman."

"Iraq is developing, and stockpiling Weapons of mass destruction."

    *sigh* politicians.

  • good night, this has been very absurd

  • funny how this was all about context from the beginning

  • /watch?v=pGZ8nHZ5EF4

"In opposition to the Alaskan fishing industry, Gravel advocated American participation in the formation of the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea."

Watch the video, compare, and contrast. It'll be funny watching you squirm out of this one.

  • "Name one comparable thing that Ron Paul has done."

"Hillary, Obama, McCain (and Ron Paul, I might add) have never done anything comparable."

"his military experience is a lot more relevant for the presidency than Ron Paul's."

Just remember, you're the hypcorite here.

  • Well, in the context they were given, I stand by those statements.

  • Good, then you're a hypocrite. You have no position to talk about me being off topic when you starte dwiht the Ron Paul bashing.

I'd rather Ron ahd stuck with his clean voting records, then get involed in Gravel's typ eof "ending the draft" horse shit.

    Thanks for backing my point.

  • "Good, then you're a hypocrite. You have no position to talk about me being off topic when you starte dwiht the Ron Paul bashing."

    haha ok

"I'd rather Ron ahd stuck with his clean voting records, then get involed in Gravel's typ eof "ending the draft" horse shit.

    Thanks for backing my point."

    glad to be of assistance

  • Oh, and I forgot! He's also a backer of a special group in the UN, who is attempting to supercede our Constitution. Perhaps even someone as blinded as you has heard of it?

L.O.S.T. treaty? (This should be interesting to see just how much research you've done)

  • So...let's get to the point:

Do you admit that you lyed when you said you never downplayed Ron's work?

Do you admit Mike Gravel lyed about ending the draft?

If you don't, well, then what can I say? People might aswell vote for the other liars like Hilary and Obama.

  • And yes, that was the only mention in the sentence related Ton Ron.

  • "Name one comparable thing that Ron Paul has done."

"Hillary, Obama, McCain (and Ron Paul, I might add) have never done anything comparable."

"his military experience is a lot more relevant for the presidency than Ron Paul's."

You never said any of that? Ok...guess it's a case of denial, and not refution.

  • Look, I am calling you out for attacking a man on his honorable actions. Of course, "I ended the draft" is an oversimplification of the reality. Maybe he should given credit to Nixon then. :P What the hell do you say when you're given as little time as he was given in the media?! This is not lying, although it is arguably a half-truth. You are being absurd.

  • Honoralbe?? HE LYED OPENLY, TO THE AMERICAN PEOPLE ABOUT WHAT HE DID DURING ONE OF THE WORST TIMES IN OUR HISTORY, WHILE AT THE SAME TIME, CONDEMING THE GOVERNMENT FOR BEING LIARS!

It's a sad day when I have to use cap locks to break the hardhsell that surrounds your thinking. Media time has nothing to do with the fact that you are in denial of Gravel's bigotry.

More red herring's please! Maybe, just maybe, A gravel supporter will be honest. Because Mike sure isn't!

  • Do you know what red herring even means?

  • Do you know what methaphorical talking points are?

  • Does it rot your teeth?

  • Is that a statement signifying your lack of maturity to the issue at hand? What a good little media lap dog! Maybe Gravel should stop playing fetch, and admit publicly to his lie, and the fact that he supports an organization prepared to supercede our Constitution, and gain 70% of earth's surface through "United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea".

    Corporate crook downed.

  • great job at exposing the crooks

  • "Just as it would for be for me to judge Ron Paul on the basis of your comments."

Why thank you! I'm glad to know I represent a doctrine that challenges liars and criminals to face up to their truth, despite what their sheeple insist on saying to the contrary.

  • I actually use to respect Gravel, until shitheads like you came over calling Ron a pedophile just because he got his money delivering over 4,000 baby's instead of having it handed to him like a spoiled kid!

Better to have sit in Congress with a clean voting record, then be like Mike gravel and hop on the double-talk express.

  • "I actually use to respect Gravel, until shitheads like you came over calling Ron a pedophile just because he got his money delivering over 4,000 baby's instead of having it handed to him like a spoiled kid!"

    That's completely moronic.

  • What? That for once not everything is about Gravel? And that your delusions of his ultimate accomplishment are shattered?

    Moronic indeed.

  • No, it's moronic that you lose respect for Gravel on the stupid comments of his supporters.

  • Stupid comments like you're making now? Comapring who did more work and avoiding the real topic at hand?

You're the one who started off with "Ron Paul hasn't done anything", so naturaly, I felt the need to expose your canidate.

    Gravelites: Starting shit since 07'!

  • OK, fine. You can call my comments stupid. But it's stupid to judge Gravel on the basis of them. Just as it would for be for me to judge Ron Paul on the basis of your comments.

    "Ron Paul hasn't done anything"

Putting words in my mouth and making assumptions. I actually voted for Ron Paul in the primary.

  • I judge you on the bases of your comments, and Gravel on the bases of his actions. I simply didn't bother promoting gravel anymore once your side went apeshit.

"Hillary, Obama, McCain (and Ron Paul, I might add) have never done anything.."

Hahahaha! Caught in your own lies! Many more quotes cna be produced. Just like Mike Gravel.

  • You can manipulate anything I say by taking it out of context. Of course, that wouldn't be lying. :P

  • So you're going to say that you not once downplayed what Ron's done, despite evidence to the contrary? Oh ok, keep up the denial. Boy, Gravel's policy of "Don't question me, only question others" really has tkaen root in his support base.

    *shrugs*

  • Well, you were attacking him on his record about this and I say it's a pretty damn significant achievement. And I am not aware of a comparable action by Ron Paul in the whistleblowing department, though he's much better than the corporate candidates. That's not the same thing as saying "he's never done anything". That's not even the full phrase in the sentence!

  • I attacked him because he lyed. Simple as that. You can cry about how Ron hasn't lyed about his actions all you wnat, but it's just a red herring. Has Gravel actually served his country practicaly? Has he had a clean voting record in Congress for 20 years? Has he ever delivered a baby, whom, your sheeple label as "phedohpilic"?

But go on, be a hypocrite.

  • Stop it with the damn pedophilia crap you moron. I know nothing about this at all and it is hardly representative of Gravel or most of his supporters. Also it has nothing to do with the draft filibuster and the Pentagon Papers. Talk about red herrings. Bullshit.

  • Oh ok. You call out Ron supporters,a nd Ron Paul,b ut dare we question Gravel and bam!

And you're right! Just like your comparison of Ron and Gravel has nothing to do with the fact that Mike is a lying son of a bitch, and so are you!

Again..hypocrisy. Gravelites represent Ron supporters as white supremacist and child touchers, yet, you get to spit shit where youw ant and no one can question it! Seig Heil mein Fuhrer!

  • I am not calling out other Ron Paul supporters. Fortunately, a lot of them are them are cool, unlike yourself. I am calling out YOU. You are the one associating me with some obscene pedophilia slander that is completely unrelated to anything I have said. In fact, I have said very little about Ron Paul or his supporters, so don't put words in my mouth.

  • Yes, yes you have. Here we go again..more lying. I simply stated I stopped promoting gravel because his supporters were the ones making bi-partisan attacks.

Wait...you're talking about relation? What does Ron's work have to do with Gravels lies? Yet again, you double-stand your own principles. Typical CNN talking head.

You've emntioned Rona t least 4 times in comapirson to gravel, so I'd say yes, you ahve mentioned him.

  • I think it's fair say that the release to the public of the Pentagon Papers had a profound mark on US history. Not too many people can say they have done something of similar magnitude (even Ron Paul... and I am not slamming the guy). Also it's especially relevant in this point in time. I think it deserves respect, but you choose to trash it. Your prerogative.

  • Yeah, what a shame Gravel can't take all the glory for himself on that one huh? He just shuts out the fact that Daniel did most of the work, as usual.

And there you go again...hypocriticaly slamming other people's work because your canidate is the one on trial here.

Doesn't respect have to be earned? Don't you need to give respect to get it? You've disrespected the only other major anti-war, anti-facists candidate! Yet again, we have another double standard.

  • What's sad is your response is the EXACT same kind I get when I question the motives and actions of canidates like Hilary, Obama, and John McCain.

Even more sad is the fact that the Gravel supporters were the ones who started spamming Ron Paul videos calling him a pedophile, "old fart", and a white supremacist. But of course, you'll deny that aswell.

  • You are swiftboating Gravel's actions during the Vietnam War. A 10 second sound bite is not going to give the whole story and Gravel has talked about this in much more detail. I knew about that wikipedia footnote already. (wikiality?)

Hillary, Obama, McCain (and Ron Paul, I might add) have never done anything comparable. He stood alone against the system and you call him a liar and a failure for suggesting that his actions had an impact on the ending of the draft. That's what's absurd.

  • again, your actions are not new. This is common amngest gravel sheeple. Whenever I bring up the sibject of hypocritical dishonesty, you guys act surprised and call it swiftboating. If you knew Gravel was a liar all this time, that makes you complacent. Again, if wikipedia is not realible, simply go to any historical documenation on the Vietnam war!

Heh, at least Ron had the gall for service, while Gravel was busy FAILING to end a draft he gloats about ending!

    Classic politician!

  • "Even more sad is the fact that the Gravel supporters were the ones who started spamming Ron Paul videos calling him a pedophile, "old fart", and a white supremacist. But of course, you'll deny that aswell."

Damn, look at yourself. What have I said against Ron Paul?

  • LMAO!! You just attacked Ron Paul for not being a liar like "Big man Gravel". You talk about "who did more work" which is irrelevant to the fact that you are a hypocrite. As if Gravel's done any real labour in hsi life.

  • Gravel served in the military, BTW. And his military experience is a lot more relevant for the presidency than Ron Paul's, and certainly played a role in the release of the Pentagon Papers. Not that you'll look it up.

"As if Gravel's done any real labour in hsi life."

Apparently, you seem to be ignorant about his path to becoming a senator. Eh, attack, attack, attack...

  • He was an intelligince officer in Alaska. That's hardly serving anything other then hot coffee on a snowy day.

Speaking of moronic, I love when Mike Gravel talks about the Pentagon papers and acts like it was his work. Daniel Ellsberg is the guy who got the papers and published them in the NYT! All Mike did was read them on the floor of the Senate.

The only one ignorant is you. But of course, when you watch CNN, what can we expect?

  • Another courageous man who certainly had an impact on Gravel's actions, as he has stated repeatedly...

"All Mike did was read them on the floor of the Senate."

This was kind of a big deal and there's a lot more to it than that. Why do you want to downplay his actions so much? It really doesn't make much sense.

Of course, I watch CNN all the time, blah, blah, blah,...

  • Name one time, during his ramblings about the Pentagon Papers during this election, did he mention daniel Ellsberg? It'd be a bummer to find out that Gravel's a liar and self rightous.

A lot more to it then that? What else did he do? Save the rain forest? All he did, according to history, was read them on the Senate floor. Daniel got the papers, and Daniel gave it to the press.

Why do I downplay actions? Why do you downplay other canidates when yours is the liar?

  • watch?v=8HtVFiuI8sE

    at :51

"When I saw Dan do what he did, all I could think of was 'Here is a guy walking up the hill taking his life into his own hands' and the least I could do was follow Dan Ellsberg."

This is an excerpt in a supporter video, but you can search for his talks on the Pentagon Papers on YouTube for the whole thing. There's one about 20 minutes I think.

  • Wow, propaganda. I noticed how the first comment on that page is a gravelite calling Ron a bigot. Fucking hypocritical despotist swine. Get Mike to admit he's a liar on Left-wing radio, oh wait! "There's a guy I can follow!" LOL!

Good job in helping oil the Miliary Industrial complex machine.

  • I was interested to see your reaction.

It was shorter than the full interview, and the quote was singled out so I chose it. Judge what you will. You are being an unreasonable dolt.

  • I'm not the one who is calling the government dishonest when I deny my own canidates lies, despite the evidence presented.

Again, the exact same reaction is presented when talking to an Obama/Hilary/McCain fan.

  • Denial does not refute truth. You're a hypocrite if you talk about how the government is dishonest with the people, when your own canidate is dishonest about his past. Go ahead and spout insults, thumb me down, and do as you please, but it's not going to change the fact that you are no betetr then the Obama/Hilary sheeple.

  • And I know you'll call me a liar, so you can just Wiki Mike Gravel or the Vietnam Draft, or the war. For more reliable sources, simply go to History Channel (dot) com, and search for the draft/war.

  • yeah, I've read wikipedia :P

  • Every other canidate, except Ron Paul, has lyed during this election, or supports some anti-american policy.

    Intervention in foreign affairs

    Unconstitutional laws

    Government intervention into social issues

    Breach of limited power

    Breach of Geneva Convention laws

Total and complete breach of honesty with the American people. Despotist swine have no place in a Constitutionalist Republic.

Ron Paul or none at all. (And yes, I'm using a sound-bite. Get the fuck over it.)

  • "Every other canidate, except Ron Paul, has lyed during this election, or supports some anti-american policy."

I think some would disagree on your definition of anti-American here (which you somehow seem to suggest that Gravel is), but I don't want to go in that here...

You might want to listen to the Libertarian debates tomorrow at 10-11:30 central on kcxl dot com. There is a world outside of Ron Paul and there really needs to be now, because the two-party system is fucked.

  • I said OR has lyed during this election, which, Gravel has.

Don't even get me started dude. I've been swapping political party's for well over a decade or so, and I know quite well about the subject. You'd be wrong to assume I just supported Ron Paul out of the blue.

The party system is "fucked" because of Americans.

  • Out of curiosity, what lie are you talking about?

  • In paticular? His statement about ending the draft. He didn't. His filibusters failed...twice. By the time he got around to a 3rd one, the 2 year draft extension was over.

Seeing as how he's running on the Democrat ticket, I wouldn't be surprised if he supports gun control either.

  • A) You're being extremely stupid about this. Speculate all you want about what would have happened had he not filibustered, released the Pentagon Papers, etc. It took a lot of courage and to suggest that his actions were inconsequential and his filibusters were a failure is absurd. Name one comparable thing that Ron Paul has done.

    B) He's running Libertarian now. Gun control--he's pretty flexible about that. He was an Alaskan senator and he owns a handgun, BTW. He ain't like Kucinich.

  • I'm stupid? Yet you're giving plausible evidence had he not filibustered? I don't care if the filibusters failed..I care that he LYED about ending the draft as a selling point for votes.

Typical gravelites. The second someone shows you some truth, you make war on another canidate to escape reality. That's called "Red herring".

Which is why he has no problem with more background checks? (More information for the government, that won't actually stop crime)

  • We've lied?

I think you're stupid. We don't want your vote.

  • Who decides when it's "mathmaticaly correct to remove someone's message"? I just love you fucking sheeple. Your ignorance and intoleranc eof other people's views astounds me. Dare say a word about Iraq, or the broken economy, and you people blow like a volcano over popularity.

"Whats popular is not always right, what's right is not always popular."

But most Americans are still stuck in a highschool dream world, so of course they don't know shit about politics.

  • gravel and paul are completely off the candidates page now.

They are not even footnotes anymore.

  • The candidates decide when they drop out, it's not the medias decision to make. its important for Mike and Ron to be included because they inject issues that the 3 puppet candidates aren't allowed to discuss.

  • SENSorSHIT!

  • Yes, Mike Gravel has National Initiative, fire. They fear it spreading. Then the people would decide not George, the decider (and his helpers).

  • "How do i know? Look at the polls, that's all you need to do."

    That's their mantra. Don't think!

What's funny is that Gravel tops blind polls on the issues, but these don't count because they are not as open to manipulation by corporate media. :P

  • Of course, citing corporate manipulation as the reason for your candidate's failure is not very compelling to most Americans.

  • Our candidate has not failed. Mass media has failed to inform the public of all the candidate choices. Our candidate's point of view is to "let the people decide". Mass media's point of view is to control the media so that THEY decide. If YOU want to decide, check into Mike Gravel's National Initiative by reading about it at ni4d us

  • Why is this important to you?

  • How can you tell if someone is going to win before the race is over. Why do people do this to themselves? I don't understand...media brainwashing..Rove would be proud of his efforts. People focus on winning, placing the bet on the winning horse, I mean candidate. The results are not supposed to be in until the race is over just like any contest. Why should a contender throw the race when he's willing to fight to bring the National Initiative to the attention of the American people? Free, at last

  • rjfrjf65, you speak for so many! tell us, oh please, what is? potato chips?

  • Excluding someone from a debate because their supposed "poll numbers" aren't high enough guarantees that their poll numbers will never get higher, since no one will hear them speak. What have they got to fear from Mike Gravel or Ron Paul? The truth, perhaps?

  • You are correct. The media predicted they did not have chance. Therefore, they were never serious. Now they are just attention whores, as they always were. There is perfect evidence of this in the case of Gravel from his release of the Pentagon Papers. The media marginalized him. Therefore, he was never serious. It was all a gimmick for attention and reveals him to be the loser that he is and will forever be. You have perfect insight that all these whining idiots will never have.

  • You must not have watched the debates. McCain was the joke on stage.

On second thought, McCain's entire campaign was as dead as his brain until the media revived it.

McCain = Another shift eyed hypocrite politician.

  • Well a lot of people seem to like him, something that can't be said for Mike Gravel.

  • Yeah, the polls are conducted by companies who finance the "top-tier" candidates. The polls are "buzz" to create hype around the celebrity nature of the campaigns. (Think about it. Why did we need polls before the candidates spoke in the debates?) rjrfrj65 is a McCain supporter who is into groupthink in a big way. He wants endless warfare to feed the military-industrial complex, so it's no wonder he wants Gravel to be censored. Reason is the greatest threat to these people.

  • I don't claim to know about everyones hearts and minds, however I do claim to know that Ron Paul/Dennis Kucinich/Mike Gravel will never win a nomination and never stood a chance of winning. Ron Paul right now, even with all the TV shows he's been on and such, has a grand total of 21 delegates. Only a very small minority support people like Kucinich and Paul, and an even smaller minority supports Gravel. How do i know? Look at the polls, that's all you need to do.

  • At this point, Gravel has no chance of winning, it's an impossibility. The only reason he's in the race now is to try to get some publicity. Because of this, I don't think he's entitled to equal coverage in the debates, it would be an absolute waste of time to ask him questions, because no matter the answers, he can't win anyway, so what's the point?

  • this is our strongest time cuz now its just down to Mike Hillary and Obama. so. its up to us to create such a stir that they have to address it. thousands of videos are required.

  • Excellent video!

I emailed the chap the other day asking him where my Presidential candidate MIKE GRAVEL was among the choices (?), as you probably know - I was having a considerable degree of trouble finding my CHOICE '08. I mentioned that I was looking forward to his response about how it is that MIKE GRAVEL

isn't listed, but he has not answered me.

I'm about to contact him again!

  • This bipartisan system is completely corrupt. We need to empower ourselves and gain strength in numbers and agree to NOT vote for the mainstream candidates. McCain (Bush 3.0), Obama, Clinton will be more of the same that we've had for the last 30 years! We must start voting in third parties. It is the only answer. For those of us here who care, we need to put together a place that shows ALL the candidates and PLUG the hell out of it so people are informed. Who's with me?

  • We can still write in whoever we want. It's time to organize. Don't vote for McCain (Bush 3.0) or Clinton or Obama. You WILL get more of the same. We need to get strength in numbers if we are ever to get rid of this insidious corruption in our system. NI4D dot us.

  • Googles Youtube is spyware !..........

  • while I can certainly understand your point and I can appreciate the sentiment that it is presented....

I think you're making an issue where there isn't one. Gravel and Paul are VIRTUALLY eliminated from the race already. There is truly no REASON for them to continue. John McCain WILL BE the Republican nominee. Obama or Clinton WILL BE the Democratic nominee. I'm sure if Paul/Gravel reenter the race as independents for November, they'll re-list them as choices...I'd have done the same.

  • representativepress (to a similar comment):

"This is all about keeping the people from having power. AS to your point, nothing is written in stone yet, it is a long time to the general election. Did you ever hear of the office of vice-President? Why in the word are you eager to shove certain politicians out of the limelight? Gravel is raising important issues. You are thinking of this like a horse race (the way MSM portrays it) when it's really a part of our political system and issues."
