this is actually very similar to what happened in assasins creed 2, where ezio's family is getting executed, uberto sees ezio in the crowd, except the only difference is that ezio gets spotted, but he wasnt all kitted out like altaire is, he didnt have a knife or a crossbow, let alone sexy stabby time knife. he also wasnt standing at the bell tower. I read the book, not played the game.. yet
