How'd you make Duckotron move in so many ways?

Several user-controlled hinges. Everything he does in the cartoon, I controlled with the arrow keys... except for that ridiculous backflip. I had to "fling" him to the right and edit out a few frames to conceal it. Oh, and his mouth is an autonomous motor, but I have it concealed behind his big blocky head.
