You totally rock!!! I googled African American Hair Accessories and stumbled upon your info. Awesome. I have natural 4a hair and love to twist, cornrow and accessorize my hair. Please continue to promote natural healthy hair. You inspire of of us naturals out there ;-)
Hi Thetogette, I used to find it hard too so I know where you're coming from! Most of this style is cornrows and I just started the cornrow as normal & before that I parted my hair diagonally & pinned the loose hair out of the way. I had to practiice though & with time I got a feel for it. You just have to take it slowly at first. I hope this kinda helps, nothing is better than practice, practice, practice :-)
HI again...I think you would look reallly cute in veil braids... I tried it for the first time on my granddaughter and omg..she looked adorable...you can leave it in for a week and can be very creative with it... pretty flowers and beads..etc... Or shells..
when mine get's longer I will try....My BC was on July 29th...still too short.....(sniff,sniff)
Smh....

Thanks, I think I prefer them smaller. One day I'm going to do them like that all over :-)
