V2 gundam reminds me of Turn A gundam, its the kind of suit that just keeps revealing more power as episodes go by and never reveals its full potential. The shit that gundam can do is pretty god like, however, its too hard to tell how it matches up to any other Gundam in a series. Uso is definitely a much much better pilot than Shinn (in skill and intelligence) so that alone could be enough to make it a win for Uso and V2. V2 is also a much more versatile suit (especially with Assault-Buster).

V2 gundam is the fastest gundam in the gundam saga going at 20G's or even greater, I only estimate that destiny goes at 5 or 6G's. plus the V2's wings can be used as CQC weapons and defend against all forms of attacks. The M-Particles emmited could also shut down the destiny as shown in Victory gundam anime.

Also keep in mind that V2 Gundam was built in the late UC era meaning that it greatly outspecs and outperforms Destiny Gundam in just about everything seeing as how Seed/Seed Destiny gundam technology maxes out at Late Zeta era at best.

Umm.. you do know that Usso broke his mobile suit and almost broke his jet while going in a straight tunnel right? Shinn was in a similar position before and he did it in a more narrower tunnel and he didn't accidentally destroy his mobile suit.

You see, the funny thing is, the Destiny has a 0% chance of winning against the V2, the UC's strongest Gundam unit.
The Minovsky Particles emitted by the V2 will fry the Destiny's computers and permanently shut it down. And even if the Destiny keeps its distance, all the V2 has to do is to activate its gigantic Wings of Light and charge at 20Gs towards the Destiny, and the M-Particles in the wings will shut down the Destiny permanently.
look guys if you want to know who would own who i would say the destiny because, the destiny has 1 beam rifle 2 beam shields, 1 solid shield, anti ship beam sword and a giant beam cannon also destiny has a palm beam hand which allows it to blow things up in an instant and yet if the V2 tried to get close the destiny would blow it up or at least slice it up, yet to me V2 gundam is just a piece of crap it may have a core fighter and seperate untis to despose of but the destiny would own V2.
there sure are alot of SEED fanboys in this thread. if you are giving Destiny all of its weapons and toys, so should the V2. with the AB packs the V2 has far more weapons, as well as a MUUUUUUCH better pilot, and a suit with better speed and maneuverability.

i dont know why you are obessing over the palm beam cannons, they are the weakest weapons on destiny. they are meant as a close range last resort weapon. the V2 is much faster than the Destiny and it ist a close combat MS, it would have no reason to get close enough for the palm weapons to be effective.

destiny was just spraying at no moving, grunts that exploded in a single shot. barely any of them even tried to fight back. and yes, ive seen every gundam series produced to date, so i have a very good understanding of mobile suit weapon systems and capabilities. the Destiny's wings of light are made of Mirage coloids, they are just there to look pretty. the pink affect is justa side affect of the system. they also create blurred after images, however these r only truly affect against CE suits,
you watch all series? it's there just too look pretty? wtf? are you dumb it's to increase his Gundam's Thrusting. Like the impluse has a limit to stay in air but Destiny doesnt since the wings and the wings helps the excalibur get closer to the enemy so he can stab them.
Destiny's WoL increase its acceleration and maneuverability, as well as creating mirage colloid after-images to interfere with targeting systems. it is a good suit with some fo the best performance in CE, but it isnt a match against the pinicle of 70+ years of mobile suit developement. the V2 has a 40% higher rate of acceleration, and due to being designed with minovsky saturation in mind, relies on a manual targeting system that is unaffected my Minovsky particles.
since CE suits use auto-targeting systems. UC suits (like V2) use manual targeting due to Minovsky particle interference. meanwhile, the V2's wings of light are an actual weapon system, made of pure M particles wrapped in a manipulatable I-Feild, giving them the same properties as giant beams sabres, and at the same time, beam sheilds.
It would be pretty badss if Lunamaria could be paired with Uso during the SRW series, Uso could give her some schooling in piloting the impulse gundam better and give Shinn some rivalry. Lol.
The match isn't even close to a draw. The V2 Gundam's Wings of Light tore apart the Angel's Halo after deflecting the beam cannon shot. The V2 is the winner, though it runs out of juice after winning.
Personality-wise, I can understand. However, he's still one of the most talented pilots I've seen, especially with a beam saber. Turning two beam sabers into a large shuriken? Nice. Removing the I-Field and turning them into one-use beam cannons? Well done, Uso. That and he's got an awesome Haro.
Though, in Gundam vs Gundam, the V2 is one of the better Gundams. If you lost, you're not using him right. His Wings of Light are a killer and the Assault Buster Pack is especially deadly.

Have you seen the V2 Assault Buster? It still moves fast as hell and has a ridiculous amount of armaments. Shin's Destiny Gundam isn't nearly as advanced as the V2 Gundam. Its Wings of Light emit afterimages, but nothing else. The V2 Gundam's Wings of Light act as 1 km long beam sabers and even as beam shields. Hell, they also leave afterimages behind, though only of the wings.
cuz i played a game called "gundam vs gundam" and i was using v2 gundam and the oppenent was destiny gundam. then i did a fair battle and v2 died cuz the destiny's wing of light as goddamn fast! lol

...? You are almost completely wrong. The V2 Gundam has two Beam Shields, both of which can act as Beam Sabers, though it has one Mega Beam Shield, which generates an I-Field, fires a V-shaped blast, AND can still cut like a Beam Saber. Also, which the Arondight is stronger than a standard Beam Saber, it doesn't make that much of a difference, since the Beam Saber can block it anyway. As for the V2 Gundam's Beam Sabers, they are not meant for breaking through Beam Shields.
That is what the V2 Assault's VSBRs are for. They fire a concentrated beam capable of punching through Beam Shields. Now, the Palma Fiocina are really just a fancy Shining Finger copy, though technically speaking, they aren't stronger than an average Beam Cannon. That's enough of disproving your 'facts.'
Now, as for the V2 Gundam's strengths, it has the Assault and Buster pack, which can be put on simultaneously. Its Mega Beam Rifle, Mega Beam Cannon, and VSBRs are as strong as WZC's TBR.
At the same time, while it does lose some speed, it is still capable of accelerating to at least 12Gs, which is almost twice Destiny Gundam's potential speed. Without the pack, the V2 Gundam can accelerate to 20Gs.
On another note, while Destiny Gundam has a nuclear reactor, its energy is not unlimited. It is still possible to drain its battery. The V2 Gundam is also capable of lasting a long time. The only reason it ran out in the last episode is because it used it all on the Wings of Light.
When it did use all its energy to the Wings of Light, it deflected a Mega Beam Cannon AND destroyed the Angel's Halo single-handedly. Can Destiny Gundam's Wings of Light do that? Hell no. It allows the Destiny Gundam to accelerate pretty fast and creates afterimages, which the V2 Gundam is capable of. Destiny Gundam's Wings of Light cannot be used to defend or even attack enemies like a Beam Saber.
Oh, there's also the fact that the V2 Gundam still retains the Core Block System.
If the Destiny Gundam kept the Core Block System, Shin might've won against Athrun. At this point, I'm getting tired of proving you wrong. Let's face it, Destiny Gundam has no advantages over the V2 Gundam whatsoever, including the pilot. Uso's NewType abilities, along with his advanced Haro would allow him to defeat Shin during his SEED Mode. The V2 Gundam is no doubt more advanced than the Destiny Gundam and is many times faster than it. Hell, it even has a better defense system.
While I am ripping the Destiny Gundam apart compared to the V2 Gundam, the Destiny Gundam is, believe it or not, still one of my favorite CE Gundams, though that's not saying much. The Arondight with the Wings of Light, plus the Palma Fiocina at least made it stylish, just not exactly that powerful. Shin at least deserved to come out victorious, but Morosawa decided to be a complete bitch and focus on Kira.
Also, despite the advantages of the V2 Gundam, it's not that overpowered.
Towards the end, the Assault Buster pack was destroyed and even when he had it, the Mega Beam Cannon and Mega Beam Rifle required a slight charge time. Hell, he could've used the VSBRs better. In fact, despite all his power, you don't see the V2 Assault Buster wiping out entire armies, though it did take out a lot of enemies.
All in all, while I like both the V2 Gundam and Destiny Gundam, don't argue that the Destiny Gundam is superior. You would be wrong.

Unfortunately, Gundam Official lacks specs on the V2 Gundam. Also, just look at the V2 Gundam's feats. The Beam Spray Pod was able to stop a powerful Beam Cannon, not to mention that its Wings of Light would take out the Destiny Gundam before it could get into range.
On a quick note, I am referring to the V2 Gundam with its Assault Buster pack though without it, it becomes one of the fastest Gundams in existence, with the exception of the Turn A Gundam and 00 Raiser since they can teleport.
In any case, the Destiny Gundam can't do much. It's Beam Rifle and Beam Cannon are useless against the V2 Assault Buster's I-Field, Anti-Beam Coating, Beam Shield, AND its Wings of Light. At the same time, the V2 Assault Buster would fly circles around the Destiny Gundam and the Wings of Light leave afterimages, which makes it difficult for it to get in a solid strike. As for the shields, the VSBRs would easily punch through them.
By the way, the VSBRs have the same power as Wing Zero Custom's Twin Buster Rifle, except it can focus the shot to break through defenses. The same applies to the Mega Beam Rifle and the Mega Beam Cannon, though they do not have the same flexibility.
While the V2 Gundam has four standard Beam Sabers, Uso is quite talented. He turned his Beam Sabers into Beam Boomerangs and even into a longer Beam Saber ala Sword of Rage by releasing the I-Field around them. Shin can't do that in Destiny Gundam.
The only advantage that Destiny Gundam has over the V2 Gundam are its power output and armor, since late UC relies on low armor in order to evade attacks. Despite this, it has nothing else that could help. Uso is among the strongest NewTypes and his weaponry, along with his skill and NewType ability, is enough to take out Shin with his SEED Mode.
Ugh...then again, Destiny Gundam fanboys might not listen to me, even though I DO like the Destiny Gundam. I just know it can't beat the V2 Gundam.

Why did the fight end in a draw? Are you trying to be neutral or do you not understand the full extent of each Gundam, especially the V2 Gundam? You know it moves at 20Gs and you realize what it's capable of doing. Hell, you ended the fight by having Uso deflect the Destiny Gundam's beam cannon, though the Angel's Halo should be destroyed afterwards. If anything, the fight ended in Uso's favor, but his Gundam runs out of power at the end. If you're making a 2.0, try and correct this.

As for wings of light vs. wings of light what the Cosmic Era does is take bits and pieces from all sorts of series but never enough to be a challenge to the original thus it gets trampled all the time, I mean the collection of various technology and abilitys in Seed is like having a super awesome mega death ray... but not having enough power to give it in order to win its very frustrating.

Usso=the youngest, most skilled pilot in Gundam history...the freaking kid taught himself how to pilot a suit by playing on a busted simulator!
Shinn=skilled, but mentally unstable angry kid...his rage gives him focus, but can blind him...
but the Victory 2 would win.
Why? better power source, better pilot (and a Newtype, at that!), and Destiny's lack of offensive "wings", put the V2 on top of this fight. and most others, actually.

Umm.. you do know that Usso broke his mobile suit and almost broke his jet while going in a straight tunnel right? Shinn was in a similar position before and he did it in a more narrower tunnel and he didn't accidentally destroy his mobile suit.

You see, the funny thing is, the Destiny has a 0% chance of winning against the V2, the UC's strongest Gundam unit.
The Minovsky Particles emitted by the V2 will fry the Destiny's computers and permanently shut it down. And even if the Destiny keeps its distance, all the V2 has to do is to activate its gigantic Wings of Light and charge at 20Gs towards the Destiny, and the M-Particles in the wings will shut down the Destiny permanently.
V2 Gundam wins this one. End of discussion.

look guys if you want to know who would own who i would say the destiny because, the destiny has 1 beam rifle 2 beam shields, 1 solid shield, anti ship beam sword and a giant beam cannon also destiny has a palm beam hand which allows it to blow things up in an instant and yet if the V2 tried to get close the destiny would blow it up or at least slice it up, yet to me V2 gundam is just a piece of crap it may have a core fighter and seperate untis to despose of but the destiny would own V2.

there sure are alot of SEED fanboys in this thread. if you are giving Destiny all of its weapons and toys, so should the V2. with the AB packs the V2 has far more weapons, as well as a MUUUUUUCH better pilot, and a suit with better speed and maneuverability.

i dont know why you are obessing over the palm beam cannons, they are the weakest weapons on destiny. they are meant as a close range last resort weapon. the V2 is much faster than the Destiny and it ist a close combat MS, it would have no reason to get close enough for the palm weapons to be effective.

destiny was just spraying at no moving, grunts that exploded in a single shot. barely any of them even tried to fight back. and yes, ive seen every gundam series produced to date, so i have a very good understanding of mobile suit weapon systems and capabilities. the Destiny's wings of light are made of Mirage coloids, they are just there to look pretty. the pink affect is justa side affect of the system. they also create blurred after images, however these r only truly affect against CE suits,

Destiny's WoL increase its acceleration and maneuverability, as well as creating mirage colloid after-images to interfere with targeting systems. it is a good suit with some fo the best performance in CE, but it isnt a match against the pinicle of 70+ years of mobile suit developement. the V2 has a 40% higher rate of acceleration, and due to being designed with minovsky saturation in mind, relies on a manual targeting system that is unaffected my Minovsky particles.

since CE suits use auto-targeting systems. UC suits (like V2) use manual targeting due to Minovsky particle interference. meanwhile, the V2's wings of light are an actual weapon system, made of pure M particles wrapped in a manipulatable I-Feild, giving them the same properties as giant beams sabres, and at the same time, beam sheilds.

The match isn't even close to a draw. The V2 Gundam's Wings of Light tore apart the Angel's Halo after deflecting the beam cannon shot. The V2 is the winner, though it runs out of juice after winning.

Personality-wise, I can understand. However, he's still one of the most talented pilots I've seen, especially with a beam saber. Turning two beam sabers into a large shuriken? Nice. Removing the I-Field and turning them into one-use beam cannons? Well done, Uso. That and he's got an awesome Haro.
Though, in Gundam vs Gundam, the V2 is one of the better Gundams. If you lost, you're not using him right. His Wings of Light are a killer and the Assault Buster Pack is especially deadly.

Have you seen the V2 Assault Buster? It still moves fast as hell and has a ridiculous amount of armaments. Shin's Destiny Gundam isn't nearly as advanced as the V2 Gundam. Its Wings of Light emit afterimages, but nothing else. The V2 Gundam's Wings of Light act as 1 km long beam sabers and even as beam shields. Hell, they also leave afterimages behind, though only of the wings.

The V2 Gundam has two Beam Shields, both of which can act as Beam Sabers, though it has one Mega Beam Shield, which generates an I-Field, fires a V-shaped blast, AND can still cut like a Beam Saber. Also, which the Arondight is stronger than a standard Beam Saber, it doesn't make that much of a difference, since the Beam Saber can block it anyway. As for the V2 Gundam's Beam Sabers, they are not meant for breaking through Beam Shields.

That is what the V2 Assault's VSBRs are for. They fire a concentrated beam capable of punching through Beam Shields. Now, the Palma Fiocina are really just a fancy Shining Finger copy, though technically speaking, they aren't stronger than an average Beam Cannon. That's enough of disproving your 'facts.'
Now, as for the V2 Gundam's strengths, it has the Assault and Buster pack, which can be put on simultaneously. Its Mega Beam Rifle, Mega Beam Cannon, and VSBRs are as strong as WZC's TBR.

At the same time, while it does lose some speed, it is still capable of accelerating to at least 12Gs, which is almost twice Destiny Gundam's potential speed. Without the pack, the V2 Gundam can accelerate to 20Gs.
On another note, while Destiny Gundam has a nuclear reactor, its energy is not unlimited. It is still possible to drain its battery. The V2 Gundam is also capable of lasting a long time. The only reason it ran out in the last episode is because it used it all on the Wings of Light.

If the Destiny Gundam kept the Core Block System, Shin might've won against Athrun. At this point, I'm getting tired of proving you wrong. Let's face it, Destiny Gundam has no advantages over the V2 Gundam whatsoever, including the pilot. Uso's NewType abilities, along with his advanced Haro would allow him to defeat Shin during his SEED Mode. The V2 Gundam is no doubt more advanced than the Destiny Gundam and is many times faster than it. Hell, it even has a better defense system.

While I am ripping the Destiny Gundam apart compared to the V2 Gundam, the Destiny Gundam is, believe it or not, still one of my favorite CE Gundams, though that's not saying much. The Arondight with the Wings of Light, plus the Palma Fiocina at least made it stylish, just not exactly that powerful. Shin at least deserved to come out victorious, but Morosawa decided to be a complete bitch and focus on Kira.
Also, despite the advantages of the V2 Gundam, it's not that overpowered.

Towards the end, the Assault Buster pack was destroyed and even when he had it, the Mega Beam Cannon and Mega Beam Rifle required a slight charge time. Hell, he could've used the VSBRs better. In fact, despite all his power, you don't see the V2 Assault Buster wiping out entire armies, though it did take out a lot of enemies.
All in all, while I like both the V2 Gundam and Destiny Gundam, don't argue that the Destiny Gundam is superior. You would be wrong.

Unfortunately, Gundam Official lacks specs on the V2 Gundam. Also, just look at the V2 Gundam's feats. The Beam Spray Pod was able to stop a powerful Beam Cannon, not to mention that its Wings of Light would take out the Destiny Gundam before it could get into range.
On a quick note, I am referring to the V2 Gundam with its Assault Buster pack though without it, it becomes one of the fastest Gundams in existence, with the exception of the Turn A Gundam and 00 Raiser since they can teleport.

In any case, the Destiny Gundam can't do much. It's Beam Rifle and Beam Cannon are useless against the V2 Assault Buster's I-Field, Anti-Beam Coating, Beam Shield, AND its Wings of Light. At the same time, the V2 Assault Buster would fly circles around the Destiny Gundam and the Wings of Light leave afterimages, which makes it difficult for it to get in a solid strike. As for the shields, the VSBRs would easily punch through them.

By the way, the VSBRs have the same power as Wing Zero Custom's Twin Buster Rifle, except it can focus the shot to break through defenses. The same applies to the Mega Beam Rifle and the Mega Beam Cannon, though they do not have the same flexibility.
While the V2 Gundam has four standard Beam Sabers, Uso is quite talented. He turned his Beam Sabers into Beam Boomerangs and even into a longer Beam Saber ala Sword of Rage by releasing the I-Field around them. Shin can't do that in Destiny Gundam.

The only advantage that Destiny Gundam has over the V2 Gundam are its power output and armor, since late UC relies on low armor in order to evade attacks. Despite this, it has nothing else that could help. Uso is among the strongest NewTypes and his weaponry, along with his skill and NewType ability, is enough to take out Shin with his SEED Mode.
Ugh...then again, Destiny Gundam fanboys might not listen to me, even though I DO like the Destiny Gundam. I just know it can't beat the V2 Gundam.

Why did the fight end in a draw? Are you trying to be neutral or do you not understand the full extent of each Gundam, especially the V2 Gundam? You know it moves at 20Gs and you realize what it's capable of doing. Hell, you ended the fight by having Uso deflect the Destiny Gundam's beam cannon, though the Angel's Halo should be destroyed afterwards. If anything, the fight ended in Uso's favor, but his Gundam runs out of power at the end. If you're making a 2.0, try and correct this.

As for wings of light vs. wings of light what the Cosmic Era does is take bits and pieces from all sorts of series but never enough to be a challenge to the original thus it gets trampled all the time, I mean the collection of various technology and abilitys in Seed is like having a super awesome mega death ray... but not having enough power to give it in order to win its very frustrating.
