  • "How do we know that Christians are delusional"? Just because Dawkins made it popular to say so.

  • What you really mean is It burnssss doesent it.

  • Im not christian and This bullshit doesn't make any sense.

  • @CartesianTheist Not only an idiot, but a STUBBORN one! Can you understand the words "the one i wrote IMMEDIATELY BEFORE"? You really need to be taken by hand like the small child you were when you've been corrupted by religion?

Go on the 2nd page of comments, and you'll start to understand, if you're not totally retarded! You replied to "Once more tempemonkey's reply ", and the one IMMEDIATELY BEFORE was "Some bastard [...] SO I POST IT AGAIN".

Can you understand now, little stupid believer?

  • @CartesianTheist Not in the above one, idiot! In the one I wrote immediately before that! Are you able to follow a discussions, you fucking moron pretending to understand logic?

...and I'm not embarassed for you only because I knew from the start you are a simpleton! :D

  • @CartesianTheist I expressly said I was reposting tempermonkey., Blame yourself if you can't simply read my post.

Keep on living in your delusional bubble, where your priests and your apologists make arguments "pointing to your god", and don't forget to pretend to use "logic and only logic" to prove that your imaginary friend exists.

...and don't bother yourself with being coherent with christian behavior: coherence is not what we expect by arrogant unpolite supertitious fanatics like you.

  • @CartesianTheist Are you really such an idiot not to understand I'm only reposting tempemonkey's post although i wrote it?

How can you be so arrogant and still pretend to be a christian, you stupid fucktard?

  • @CartesianTheist Once more tempemonkey's reply has been censored by some unfair person (and "incidentally" it happened in the same days you "advertized" this video to your fanatic acolytes):

The million dollar question is if you have evidence....... Didnt think so... I can show you a really bad argument for gods existence using reason alone.... Its called the ontological argument.... But, without evidence "reason" only goes so far..... [etc. etc...]

  • @CartesianTheist Indeed I got a stupid, ignorant and arrogant insulting person: it's you.

But I won't waste much more of my time debating such kind of fanatic morons.

  • Comment removed

  • @CartesianTheist Ok. I'm tghe ignorant one. ...and you're the one believing in a magical sky daddy.

    Have a nice life.

  • @CartesianTheist Really unfair, from you, to give all that negative votes to the comment of people who dont agree with you.

Gawd bless you ...if he really exists! :D

  • @CartesianTheist Are you really going to use "reason and reason only" to show that a carpenter who supposedly lived 2 thousands years ago in Palestine, was born from a virgin, performed miracles, and resurrected after death, was the son of your imaginary friend and is gonna "save" us for a sin that our imaginary ancestors Adam and Eve committed because of a talking snake?

    Good luck! :D

  • Heredxx

  • Excellent video. The world needs more videos like this and thinkers like you, keep up the good work!

  • @magos2k6 Thinker?! Are you serious? This was the most irrational Anti-religious video I've ever seen on Youtube! I can't believe that people are fallish for this, lol.

  • @TheisticThinker Some bastard censor reported tempemonkey's reply as spam, so I (partially) post it again:

As for the teleological and ontological arguments..... Well, David Hume destroyed those in the dialogues concerning natural religion a long time ago..... Then evolution put the nail in the coffin.... The only arguments for god, as far as I can tell, are "god of the gaps" arguments.... If you have PROOF that a 3 O god exists, lets see it... otherwise, you are just being annoying.

  • @FreeSilio You know that it have advanced ALOT scince? Alvin Plantinga's ( Been called the greatest living Christian Philosopher ) and Robert Maydole's ( Philosophy of Logic ) revised carefully revised version. Maydole revised the argument in The Blackwell Companion to Natural Theology. Teleological argument still stands. Creationism has been destroyed by Evolution, not the Teleological argument. Read Prof. Robin Collins fine-tuning argument in the same book.

  • @TheisticThinker Fine tuning argument has been debunked too. Debating it is a waste of time. Watch any of the 670.000 google pages on the topic.

  • @FreeSilio Lol, no. It is still being discussed and has it supporters. Not everyone takes it as a argument but most prominent defending the argument today is Robin Collins, professor of Philosophy and who also began on a PhD in Physics under John Wheeler, a very famous physicist who wrote in the forevwords in the book 'The Anthropic Cosmological Principle' that 'not only is man adapted to the Universe, the Universe is also adapted to man.'

  • @TheisticThinker Of course fine tuning argument has its supporters! Many people live in their religious delusional buble (as shown in this video) and they climb on the mirrors to convince themselves and their deluded correligionaries that the "god" they believe in is not a fairy tale invented by bronze age shepherds!

..and you are one of those deluded people who don't want to give up their superstition. That's why you're so insulting and aggressively incoherent whith your own alleged faith.

  • @FreeSilio Another example of supporting it as a pointer to God is Camebridge Particle Physicist and Anglican Priest John Polkinghorne. He worked alongside Fred Hoyle, the famous Astronomer. He also did big contributions to particle physics.

  • @TheisticThinker Of course! A Physicist and ANGLICAN PRIEST! How reliable is that! :D

Which SCIENTIFIC peer reviewied article "pointing to god" has been published by this priest? None!

And why is Fred Hoyle (with whom you claim your priest "worked alongside") never mentioned in Polkinghorn's biographies on youtube? And why his "big contribution in particle physics" is not mentioned in any SCIENTIFIC paper about quarks?

Beyond your empty claims he's just a priest, not a true scientist.

  • @FreeSilio A page on Google done by some blogger will probably not do anything big to the argument at all. That is like Creationists who think Evolution will be disproved by some Youtube video.

  • @TheisticThinker Really a bad mathematician, if you cant understand the difference between 1 and 670.000.

Anyhow fine tuning is not evidence for ANY god (and your one is just one in a bunch), otherwise you'd find SCIENTIFIC peer reviewed (peer review in philosophy doesn't worth a shit) articles proving his existence. Ever seen one?

Only theistic apologists (the LAWYERS of your god) such the ones you mentioned consider FT as a good argument, but they're not scientists, so they're irrelevant.

  • @tempemonkey2323 This video was pure shit thanks for wasting my time.

  • This almost converted me, I'll be fair to say. A few months ago I decided that if Christianity is not congruent with reality, then I will reject it. To date I have never seen a healing or any other definitive proof that God exists. Yet the problem is that I see inconsistencies in atheism as well.

And furthermore, and more importantly, if all religions are bubbles of delusions, then the species doesn't matter. It will ultimately cease to exist and life has no meaning. Talk about devaluing life.

  • @tonyvspaulfreak If you want to talk about evidence/arguments for Gods existence, feel free to PM me. :) But don't take this video seriously, think critically, this video was not built on reason at all.

  • @ashiebrooke91 Have you read Genesis? What about Moses parting the red sea or Jesus raising the dead? God speaking things into existence seems like magic to me... You call it miracles, I call it magic.... Its all the same bull shit.

  • @tempemonkey2323 Lol, yes I have. A magic trick is what the egyptians used to compete with the Lord (water to blood, rod to snake, etc.) They couldn't do the things God could do. Its an argument about absolute power, not "magic."

  • @ashiebrooke91 Absolute power and magic..... Whats really the difference? Both use methods completely beyond our comprehension and they can both essentially do anything...... Sorry, but you believe in fairy tales... The idea that an all powerful, all loving, all perfect being exists and helps us is wishful, fanciful.... perhaps magical thinking.... You would not believe it for a second if you were not indoctrinated with it since you were a child. which is why you reject other religions..

  • @tempemonkey2323 Sorry to know that you don't have it in you to believe in anything greater than yourself. I guess that you think that there is nothing greater than yourself. It is a shame that you seem as though you are incapable of having faith in anything but a light switch. Something, can't come from nothing. You should really give that statement some consideration.

  • @OVtigerstripe "Something can't come from nothing." OK, God is something isn't he? So where did he come from? Who created the Creator? One of the things that convinces that God is not real is that he is ascribed by the men who wrote those ancient texts with very human feelings, and petty ones at that: jealousy, rage etc. He has clearly evolved over time as humans have developed and become more sophisticated, just as our understanding of the world has developed.

  • @tempemonkey2323 Magic is'nt and how the hell that a guy dies three fuckn times and sent to hell three times uh. if you die its nothing for both me and you.

  • @mrthecreationist maybe they made it up? Harry potter says there's a school of wizardry why don't you believe in that? It's easy to make a story about someone in a big fish for days. The Bible was probably made to brain wash children. I bet I could make my child believe in the flying spaghetti monster.

  • @mrthecreationist there is no proof that god even talked to them.

  • @Ibanezjs96

Of course there is how else would they have known what to write in the Bible.

  • @MrTheCreationist "how else would they have known what to write in the Bible"

That's simple: bible is a made up fairy tale like people from bronze age used to believe and write.

  • Great video....All religion is based on ancient astrology and mythology.....

  • @TheHumbleCat

There is one that is right! Read the Bible its proof that God is real!! I mean he wrote it himself! whats more proof than that?

  • @MrTheCreationist Now you are just lying.... Even the bible doesn't suggest that god wrote it himself.... The bible says that man, inspired by god, wrote it..... Its called divine inspiration..... I call it people with over active imaginations...

  • @tempemonkey

He did write through man! Learn something about OUR God and get back to me!

  • @MrTheCreationist

It seems you dont even know anything about YOUR god. He influenced people to write what he "said". Although it is quite a comical thought to imagine a large bearded man sitting at a desk with a quill pen surrounded by clouds.

  • @Oldspiceguyshorse

No duh? In other words God wrote the Bible through man. There is plenty of proof that God created earth. For example, how would we know what happened before man? Well we wouldn't! But thanks to God and the Holy Bible we know.

  • @MrTheCreationist

We know for a fact what happened before man because of science. No where in the bible is there substantial evidence to tell us what was before man. Give me a few more examples of this "proof" would you?

  • @Oldspiceguyshorse And doesn't God influencing people to do what he wants completely destroy the Christian concept of free will. :)

  • @tempemonkey

Correct God talk to them and told them what to write in THE HOLY BIBLE!!! Does that make sense? its the bible or the word of God. What more proof do you need that God exist?

  • @MrTheCreationist If God is as powerful as you claim him to be, why does he need fallible humans to write the book for him? Christians claim the Bible is the "word of God"...it's funny how it's always humans doing the talking.. Church's are a business with the intent of dictating how you should live your life; "Follow these rules and BELIEVE or suffer for eternity!" ....Please. Only a weak-minded buffoon would buy that absurd nonsense. Please get an education and find your own way to live.

  • @hondadrvr3

For your information I know for a fact that God is real. Let's just say I have experienced some things that have completely changed my spiritual life. Please check out my page.

  • @MrTheCreationist If you have facts and physical evidence to show that God exists, please share. You would be the first person in history to do so. However, if your version of "fact" is subjective accounts, personal belief or appeals to emotion, those do not hold up as "fact". I'm honestly not trying to come off as an ass, but personal testimony does not equate to proof or facts, bud.

  • @hondadrvr3 John8: 31 If ye continue my word,ye are my disciples indeed. Jesus makes it clear that anybody who leaves Christianity was never a real disciple. (much to my relief)... which is exactly why creationists shouldn't oppose real science. They should be thankful to science for ridding the church of false disciples like us. Sunday services should be dedicated to watching "the Atheist Experience" at least twice a month just to make sure there's only "real" christians in their congregations.

  • @MrTheCreationist Your personal experiences will not convert anyone.

  • @hondadrvr3

Well this is very easy to explain. See God created man in the image and lightness of himself. He wanted to test mans knowledge to see if man could reveal the truth about there own God with inspiration from God. Man is Gods greatest creation and he likes watching us grow with knowledge.

  • you are a faith healer

  • "It doesn't matter if you're a fundamentalist, moderate or casual Christian; your delusion is hurting us."

True, true... but the Fundies are hurting us more.

  • Fairy tales? You wanna call me delusional. All atheists like yourself are either angry with God or are deceived by the science (Islam promotes science, it has always done so)

The Noah's Arch, Sodom and Gomorrah and there are some other historical evidences. We also have the graves of the prophets, showing their historicity.

Koran is a unique book. It is calculated.

What proof do you need to believe?

  • @gakusha76 "Islam promotes science"

So there are no good muslims, since we all know that muslim countries don't give a shit of contribute to scientific community.

Indeed all contact muslims have with science is to claim there're scientific issues in their "holy" book written by an illiterate and superstitious shepherd whose brain was burned by the desert sun in one of the darkest eras of human kind.

Wanna make claims about science? Start giving your contribute or shut up!

  • Pretty weak arguments on Islam. But you are an atheist and it may not make much sense for you even to try to find the true God. But also I believe that you became an atheist.

Did you read Koran? It is not the book of life of Mohammed. It is also not a copy of stories from Bible. Read and find the difference which makes the point why Islam came and why it is the only true religion. Please, come back to me after you read it. I would love to discuss that with you.

I am a new convert to Islam.

  • @gakusha76 Xianity and Islam are the exact same.... They both make crazy claims with no evidence to support it.... They also promote immoral actions... I don't reject a crazy belief just to accept a different crazy belief...

  • @tempemonkey2323 Koran promoting immoral actions? I know what you mean, but trust me they chose and picked to deceive people. I know it is useless to argue with you,but it is my duty to tell. So I tell the differences between the two:

In Islam God is absolute ONE and never seen and does not look like anything we see .

Koran does not have a single immoral thing you can make a point out of. God is perfect and His moral is the highest. No doubt.

In Islam, non-Muslims are not doomed to hell.

  • @gakusha76 It disturbs me how a grown person like yourself can believe such nonesense... The stories in the Koran are all fairy tales literally because they lack evidence.... I really worry about mankind... We are nutty!!!

  • @tempemonkey2323 Yeah, that is how nutty I am. It is because Islam was promoting science today we know about such things as "golden ratio".

Muslim is the first man to build the first globe, to calculate the size of the earth sitting in his room. (A.R.Beruni)

0 is also the invention of another Muslim (Al-Khorazmi - Algorithm)

These nutty people, as you call them, wrote the ABC the science learned from.

    watch?v=_830WxtZQgQ&feature=PlayList&p=B8FFE9885115A5EB&playnext_from=PL&index=0&playnext=1

  • @gakusha76 I would like to see a shred of evidence that the god of the Koran exists.. Your logic is awesome, people just have to invent scientific or mathematical things and then all their metaphysical beliefs are validated (these beliefs being enforced upon them since birth and the rejection of which spells their death)... Dont you know that you can find crazy coincidences like the land an water thing in just about any large book?

  • @tempemonkey2323

Nothing can disprove God. thanks to the Bible.

  • @MrTheCreationist "The Bible is the word of God!" "How do you know it's the word of God?" "Because the Bible says so!" "But why believe the Bible?" "The Bible is infallible." "But how do you know it's infallible?" "Because it's the word of God" That's called circular reasoning.. #1 tool of theists like yourself. You're completely delusional and can't even realize it... Sad, really.

  • @hondadrvr3

I do saves over youtube, really message me and i can help you. Don't ever be afraid to take a leap of faith.

  • @MrTheCreationist Exactly. A "leap of faith" is needed to believe in religion, my friend. I was once a whole-hearted Christian like yourself. Attended church every Wednesday and Sunday, attended youth group activities, believed and trusted my pastors, read and believed the "Word", listened exclusively to Christian radio, daily prayer....Then I developed critical thinking skills.. I don't doubt your sincerity; however I hope you learn to think critically about what you believe before jumping in..

  • @hondadrvr3 Deuteronomy6: 16"You shall not put the Lord your God to the test". Creation "science" in itself is an abomination and an exercise in hypocrisy. Science is nothing but testing. The Bible's clear: DO NOT TEST GOD. Why would they even look for proof of something that they're supposed to know through personal revelation anyway? Yahweh's word isn't enough?

  • Comment removed

  • @incomprehensible14 You need to realize that the Bible is not the "Word of God", but merely the "work of man." There are THOUSANDS of Gods created all throughout history to try to explain our very existence...and none of them were true. Yours is just a very recent fabrication. If you had been born/lived in another country in another time, you would no doubt be believing in a different God. Quoting the Bible does nothing for your case. Unless you have real proof of your God, I will not respond.

  • @hondadrvr3 Flew over your head huh? That's part of why I chose my screen name. You need to reread my comments VERY carefully. Especially the fourth sentance of my first comment. A quick trip to my channel may be in order as well. The Bible isn't totally useless to us you know. Keyword: US, as in you and I. If you truly understood what my case was, you'd understand that quoting the Bible actually does wonders for it. Consider the tactical advantage of Deut 6: 16 in regards to public education.

  • @gakusha76 Don't you think that too many coincidences are actually evidence of a plan? I gave you 1 example out of some 250.

The number of odd and even numbers of verses match. The sums also match. The number 19 (which is special in math.) is also very special number. And God gives a hint only at one place (that was the start of the discovery in 1976). Jesus is mentioned for the first time in Ch.19 verse 19. The evidence of Koran being planned book is overwhelming. Only God can plan such a book.

  • @gakusha76: What you're not getting is that those advances occurred in spite of Islam, not because of it. That the first globe may or may not have been invented by a Muslim (evidence?) is no more to the point than that Galileo was a Christian; the fact remains that these scientists from antiquity arrived at their discoveries through scientific principles, not through revelation.

  • @gakusha76 "Muslim is the first man to build the first globe, to calculate the size of the earth"

No. That man was the greek Eratosthenes, in the 3rd century b.c.

About the number "0": It had a long story in babylonian, Indian and chinese math, before a muslim ever heard about it.

Your claims are even more baseless than your religion.

  • @tempemonkey2323 Every keyword has concordance between meaning, quantity and value. e.g. "water" occurs 32 times and "land" appears 13 times. The sum is 45. If you take 45 as 100%, then 32 is equal to 71.8% and 13 is 18.2%. This is exactly the same ratio of land and water on the earth. You wanna check this?

    M. did not claim it. We found it only 30 years ago. M. could not plan it. The Koran was revealed over 23 years. Even today, having computers, one cannot plan a book of such properties.

  • @tempemonkey2323

Agreed. Christians and Muslims are both guided by bat shit crazy fiction that has absolutly no proof whatsoever other then "visions." and the ravings of lunatics. They do nothing but clog up the world's progression and breed hate, Violence ,and ignorance. And people like us get caught up in their bat shit crazy conflicts.

  • @tempemonkey2323

But you should accept the message of God.

  • I tell you what I told the other guy in a nutshell. I want you to disprove the existance of a god and jesus. You keep saying there is no scientific proof (actually the bible and creation go hand in hand *cough cough*) so where is disproof? Im dead serious, if you cant then leave me alone because I will not argue with a bigot over my faith....

  • Let me tell you the basics of reasoning skills. If you make a positive claim, you must prove it exists. I am justified not to believe your claims simply because you have no proof.

Think about how that works in the justice system and in science. If you make a claim, that the earth rotates around the sun, then you need evidence. If you claim that Johnny murdered Sam, you need evidence. If you claim god exists, YOU need evidence.

The person making the positive claim needs evidence.

  • Religion science and the justice department are completly different. I knew you would say something like this, you're all the same, but the fact that there is no proof is where the whole faith in god thing comes in. If I had proof, scientific proof that is, then there would be no need for faith. I have my own personal proof that you would never believe. You already have the truth figured out in your mind so i won't try to confuse you with facts. Now either answer my question or leave me alone.

  • So do you have proof or not. In one breath you say that you dont need proof, and in the next you say you have personal proof.

Well, of course you need proof, and now you will claim personal proof so as to protect it from objections.

What is this personal proof? Good feelings or a supposed miracle of some sort. How is that any different from the Muslim or Mormon?

Please, indulge me, what is your "personal proof"? How special you must be for the creator to give YOU personal proof!!!

  • So you think that we can gain knowledge thorugh methods that are not scientific. That is, we can gain knowlege about god without evidence? Is this what you are saying?

If this is the case, how do we tell the difference between delusion or fanciful thinking and fact?

How ironic that I ask YOU that question!! ha ha

  • heh, figures

there are only a few people on this earth that I have to justify myself to and you certainly aren't one of them.

So either disprove god or leave me alone and stop being a bigot

  • Ok, I understand where you are coming from. Dont get me wrong, god may exist, and so may Thor or Zeus. I can not prove any of that wrong. I can not prove god doesnt exist, and you can not prove a pink unicorn doesnt exist.....

Whats your point? God MIGHT exist? Anything MIGHT exist?

To make your claims valid, YOU, the person makin the claim, need EVIDENCE!!

Stop calling me a bigot . I guess you are a bigot too because you dont believe in Allah?

  • Bigot: a person obstinately or intolerantly devoted to his or her own opinions and prejudices; especially : one who regards or treats the members of a group (as a racial or ethnic group) with hatred and intolerance... (Kind of like the attitude displayed in this video which by the way is saying god doesn't exist because he calls all who believe in god delusional)

  • Delusional: a false belief or opinion: (delusions of grandeur).

or a fixed false belief that is resistant to reason or confrontation with actual fact: (paranoid delusion).

so not only is it insulting, it does say god doesn't exist.

And you have failed to disprove god.

  • Do you think Thor exists? Would you say its possible that he exists?

    BIGOT!!!

Lets not get boged down with name calling and such. You know that you are backed into a corner at this point. You do not have evidence for your god, therefore you are not justified to believe in it.... Believing in something without justification is delusional.... Sorry, call me what ever you want.

Give me some evidence, or why my reasoning above is wrong. Lets not avoid the issue with petty name calling.

  • I said I would not get into it and I am not. Just disprove god or leave me alone.

  • and If you go so far as to say that I am delusional for being a christian than you are being intolrant at the least. Making you a bigot. If you aren't a bigot then take this video down.

And you haven't disproved god yet...

  • @xXFuzzyScreenXx typical comment...why does god have to be disproved? whre's the evidence in the first place jackass?

  • BTW, this video is not really saying god doesnt exist so much as its saying christian belief is the same as Islamic belief or Mormon belief in that they all use the same illogical tactics and get different conclusions.

Christians, Muslims, Mormons as well as every other religion are the same at their core. Blind devotion no matter what, and beleif in ridiculus stories that a child would not believe in (unless it was brainwashed to do so at a very young age)

  • it's a very unprofessional opinion...

  • How many times will you run this same discredited and illogical video?

How you can think that copycats and fakes makes the original less likely, rather than more likely, to exist is baffling.

  • How does christianity differ than these other religions? Why should anyone believe christianity, and not the other religions. This video, clearly shows that all religions are the same....

If not, what is the difference?

  • This video clearly shows that the methods and belief systems of all religions are the same.

If not, then please tell me how christianity is different than any other religion..

Why should we believe its miracles, and irrational stories? Why should we believe you are more sincere and touched by the holy spirit than a mormon?

    Its all the same crap!!
