I watched the Panorama doc which is good if not brilliant - but the Scientology rebuttal is sinister and ridiculous, malicious about Sweeney and former scientologists while doing nothing to refute the serious claims about their cult.

Pictures of a bad man holding a can of beer - I see the subtle psychology. His two girlfriends? His address? The funniest accusation is of 'Turning up unexpectedly': pot calling kettle. The C of S film is hilarious, using techniques that could only impress the already brainwashed. Perhaps get a BBC freelance to do it?

It's an hour-long special (that's a proper BBC hour, meaning no commercials).One of their "Office of Special Affairs" knobs that was sent out to handle the Sweeney flap in the original show, along with screaming Tommy Davis, was Mike Rinder who blew the cult immediately after that show. Rinder features in this one but on Sweeney's side of the fence now, and tells all. There's interviews with other ex-executives who have blown/surfaced since the original show.
