  • i like my martinis shaken not stirred

  • USE ALL THE OLIVE BRINE!!!!

  • you could just all prepare this in a mixer correct ?

  • 2 OLIVES....like monkey's rotten balls swimming in your dirnk, now thats dirty!

  • This guy needs to learn to begin chilling that glass first thing.

  • How to make a dirty martini.

    1. Open can of olives.

    2. Take one shot of olives + olive juice, followed by one shot of gin.

    3. Check into a hospital.

  • Where's the ice?

  • how to make a dirty martini

    1 make a martini

    2 spunk on the martini

  • Should chill the glass first, with some water to aid the chilling. That glass is not well-chilled at all.

  • DUDE GLASS ON GLASS IS A NO NO!!!! otherwise nice drink, but try not to do the glass to glass, always glass to tin, then tin to glass or vice versa !

  • The Martini....a brilliant drink! Plymouth gin makes a brilliant martini....oh and james bond drinks a Vesper. Do your homework bartenders....a Vesper is 2 parts gin and 1 part vodka, and instead of vermouth it uses lillet, bond also has it with a twist of lemon and instead of 2 parts gin he has 3 parts Gordons gin and would prefer 1 part grain vodka instead of potato vodka. lets bring bartending back to its respectable days. DO YOUR HOMEWORK.....much love from australia, we do our homework!

  • @sompie13 That was only in Casino Royale . . . in every novel (and film adaptation) afterward, he drinks dry vodka and dry gin martinis . . . the Vesper is never mentioned again

  • is there a difference in shaken and stirred???

  • @robsmith000

Some cocktails (the martini in particular) are better stirred than shaken. Why? I dunno.

Oh yeah. 'Cos when you shake a cocktail you fill it full of air bubbles, shards of ice, over-dilution of water etc. That's fine for most cocktails, but for the simplest ones with the fewest ingredients (the martini in particular), the drink should be as brutal, as hard-hitting, as straight-up as possible. So stir gently for about 30 seconds for the best results.

I'm some guy for whatever dot com

  • I don't drink cocktails much, but when I do, I prefer a dirty martini! that looks wonderful!

  • 2 olives is a faux pas must be 1 or 3

  • bond drinks it shaked.

  • @Skyfighter89 *shaken

  • @BoredMuch22 ok thank you

  • The martini: the man's drink.

  • 2:32 "for me personally: I love ... two olives in my dirty martini" what a friggin individual this guy is :)

    great job though

  • I love how he always says "just a little bit of ice" and stuffs the whole glass with it :D

  • Double shot grey goose dirty Martini!

  • :-) this guy sucks

thats a dirty martini for dummies

  • do u want to know how this guy is gay?

    he drinks martini's lol

  • @theGypsyboy713tx do u want to know how theGypsyboy713tx is gay?

    he doesn't drink martini's lol

  • @theGypsyboy713tx and you're clearly 10 years old...

  • he's gotta love this job

he gets to drink all the things he makes!

  • Muddle olives gives the martini a lot more of a dirtier appearance and is a lot more salty, however the brine is enough for the flavour and still keeps that clean look to the martini

  • orginal martini are served with gin and not vodka. stirred not shake. =)

  • two olives = bad tone

    nice martini otherwise

  • A sales manager got a complaint that his salesmen were returning from lunch drunk & stinking of gin. He told his people to switch to vodka martinis so they wouldnt stink of booze.

After a week he told his people to switch back to the gin martinis. He said he would rather have customers think his people were drunks instead of stupid.

  • @voglbop this is perfect, thanks for the story

  • @voglbop I like the story. But I also like vodka in my martinis.

  • it's not what you call a dirty martini dude..........it's a Gin Martini with olives as a garnish.....when u r makin' dirty martini first of all you have to muddle olives in a shaker with 1/4 oz of olive juice and then pour 2 oz of gin and a half ounce of dry vermouth.

  • @praash1 Muddle olives? I've never seen that in all my years of bartending. Wouldn't that make the drink a bit too salty?

  • shaken, not stired

  • its 11 in the a.m and i really want one...plus i have class in 2 hours gosh what a way to start a monday

  • YOU ALWAYS USE GIN!!!!! its not a martini if you use vodka.. Gees!!!

  • @NilsBritney Its still a martini if you use vodka, its just called a vodka martini. I work in a bar (and have done for some time) and the most popular of the 2 is the vodka martini. I think its coz james bond drinks it.

  • Gin is disgusting. I always use vodka with martinis.

  • the way he does it makes the ice melt wayyyy to much and dilutes the alcohol with too much water. just ruins the flavor. shaken is a better method. you never want to leave alcohol on ice for long

  • actually its the other way because of the shaking action. but i agree with you on the part of him diluting it too much, but i would say he stirred too much

  • you dont know anything, shaken martinis are for dumb fucks

  • You stir gin martinis, not too much or you will bruise the gin (over dilute it).

You shake (hard) vodka martinis, looking for ice chards & serve in a frozen glass.

Two totally different drinks, I like my vodka martinis slightly dirty with blue chesse oilves, gin (sapphire) clean & dry with anchovie stuffed olives.

  • @jamesypie69 arguing on youtube is for retards

  • @jamesypie69 As you know so fucking much why dont you make your own video then

  • @jamesypie69

I dare you to say that to James Bonds' face. He'd steal your girl and mail her head to you Federal Express.

    Just kidding, lol.

And hey, shaken isn't bad. To each their own!

  • @jamesypie69 I don't know anything about alcohol, but what's the difference? Is it that when it's shaken the ice will break and dilute the alcohol? :S

  • @jamesypie69 It doesn't matter in this case. The biggest reason that you don't shake a martini is so that you don't bruise the gin. However, the olive brine is gonna cloud it up anyway, so it's fine.

  • ++ for Plymouth! :)

  • now im in the mood for it !lol

  • :P

    Got to make this now!
