This rifle together with the zapper and most of the other wii guns out there will not work with large projection screens.
However, the gun from i-zone-3 will work with screens 200 inches and beyond from as close as 13 feet.
The wiimote optics normally sees only 45 degrees straight ahead. The i-zone-3 design changes the optics to place the IR TX view in the center with a huge field of vision while still allowing you to place the actual sensor bar above the screen.
I should make a gun out of a old broken pump 12 guage. That would be cool
