  • where is that bridge at?

  • @MrSuperRileymoore

This Bridge is in Washington state on State Route 104 and connecting the Olympic Peninsula and the Kitsap Peninsula across Hood Canal.

  • wish they had a floating bridge connecting the hawaiian islands together

  • This isn't the "old" Hood Canal Bridge. This is the one that replaced the original bridge that sank in 1979

  • Notice at 0:38, the Slippery When Wet sign is stenciled backwards? I live in Seattle, and my Ex-Girlfriend lives in Port Angeles. That's one of many great memories of driving across this bridge.

  • @abysmalatrocious

Huh, you are right it is backwards. :-)

  • At 1:43 you can see and hear the steel grating on the bridge!!!!

    Thanks for sharing this.

  • I'm so glad to see this old footage of the bridge. Thank you for filming.

  • The world longest floating bridge on salt water 1.52 miles= 8,752 feet.
