I dunno why do people get so happy with PS3 exclusives...So that you know,I'm a great fan of many of those exclusive franchises such as Valkyrie Profile,Disgaea,Ar Tonelico and it really hurts that those games are PS3 exclusive because many people here are going from the ps2 to the X 360 because the ps3 IS NOT that accessible,and many can't afford it's games or even the console..So please stop with this "hahaha not for xbox" thing u don't even know why people buy X 360 stead of PS3..

Actually, They say Valkyrie Profile 3 it's exclusive and will only be in PS3, The Xbox 360 will not have a copy of the game.

this is more off a spinoff, the actual Valkyrie Profile 3 (if there going to be one) wouldn't ever be a tactical rpg. The first two were more turn based, but I really liked the 1st more . I'd rather get VP lenneth than this, since it's an enhanced version of the 1st with original gameplay.

Y'know, I was thinking that we should have a vp: hrist game...but unfortunately, Hrist's exploits are completely explained in VP 1+2. It would be hard to write a enw story based around her crappy life.

Covenant of the Plume is NOT Valkyrie Profile 3. It's a side game that ties in with the backstory like Final Fantasy X-2. X-2 was not a main Final Fantasy title but a side game that was set in the same world as FFX. Likewise Covenant of the Plume is the same. Valkyrie Profile 3 - whenever Tri Ace do it, should be about Hrist as we have Lenneth and Silmeria's games already. It should follow the same gameplay styles as those two and be released on at least the PS3 & Xbox 360.

so Hrist should have her time to shine too. not sure how they'll do it tho. since Odin is dead in the alternate timeline created by Lezard in VP2

No need to be rude 'sir'. There are many factors that suggest this game is a branch off the main series. Just look at what most other people are saying. The original VP was given the addition of Lenneth, probably because they were going to be continuing the series. Then VP2: Silmeria comes out (direct referral to a valkyrie), therefore the next MAIN game would be VP3: Hrist. I can see your argument. It's the "third" game, but it is not a part of the MAIN story.

It was a good game...but it felt nothing like the original Valkyrie Profiles (other than when you were able to get all four of your members to gang up on the enemies.

I missed the 2D side scrolling element...and Lenneth and Silmeria are both more interesting than Wilfred.

This one is for DS, but it would be nice to have a version in Wii. Hacking away with the wii remote would be awsome, just like in Zelda. They also mention at an interview with the developer that fans should look forward to another version on another console system.

WHAT THE CRAP. I don't want this thing on the DS, I want it on the Wii or PS3! The first two were for PS1 and PS2, respectively, and I'd like to see some amazing graphics.. full-sized on a TV, not miniaturized on a DS. Also, however counter to the first two games it may be, I would really like to see fully-3D everything in a Valyrie Profile game.

now that would be a cop-out, the pseudo-realtime battle system and simultaneous 4-character control system is what makes VP unique to other RPGS and games in general, making it real time battle would make it generic and a sell-out franchise, we have enough of those games already

And if it is just a spin-off, then that'd be fine by me, lol just so long as they get around to making an absolutely awesome one on the PS3.
