Dr. Parker is delightfully demented. One of the best I've seen. Edgar was stellar, as were Meredith and Shelley. The ensemble was cool. Choreography could have been a little better, but that certainly isn't the actors' fault. They did their job and did it well. Wonderful. I have to convince my director to do this show. It's truly phenomenal, and this cast shows the true value of this under-appreciated show. Thank you all.

very good! this is probably my second favorite musical, after Joseph and the amazing technicolor dreamcoat. I just saw it at the Idaho Shakespeare Festival. I now have a thing for Mitch McCarell, who played Bat Boy in that production. MM mm! He is YUMMY! (especially in his tight leather pants...) this is great rendition, JCC!

Ensemble work is outstanding :) The fact that everyone is in unison is relieving to hear since some productions aren't really successful in that particular area. Edgar is amazing. Great pick for the Bat Boy :) The only crtique I can depict is the beginning of the song, the actor seemed to rush into the song, but quickly recovered and did a splendid job. Overall it was a really good production :) I enjoyed it thoroughly.

actors and musicians all are terrific. also the blocking is AMAZING. Dr. Parker, great acting. Meredith, you somehow sound exactly like the original. Everything is just spectacular. Totally blew me away.

I actually have no problem with the slight adjustments that Doctor Parker made. If I didn't know the song so well, I wouldn't have thought anything of it at all.

I am very critical of how plays are done, especially with favorites like Bat Boy.

So what if Parker couldn't sing the high notes? He went with what he could without blistering his vocal chords and it still sounded nice and he did a very nice job of acting psycho.

Edgar was very well played too. His singing voice was great and his emotion in it made it was come nicely together.

People, if you don't have anything helpful to say, leave it in your redneck mouths. Critique is HELPING people know what needs work, not telling them it sucks or it's the worst ever. That's the beauty of plays, we can make them and the charcters into what we want and still make it worthwhile.

i just did a production of this, so im very ciritcal when i watch other peoples youtubes of it. however, bat boy, kicks fucking ass, he is the shit.

and as for dr parker, he did great with the acting, props for doing the best with the cards you were dealt.

Most of the performances are fine (Edgar is great!), except for Dr. Parker. He does NOT sound like Sean McCourt (on the recording), and he cannot sing this role. Now I understand that he was going for a much more acting-oriented approach, but you need to at least attempt to sing your part.

My only other gripe is that there is NO CHOREOGRAPHY! This is the act one finale, it should have been an explosion of sound, energy, and movement. The staging was bland and ugly.
