i don;t think that was metal but more of a hard rock or smth like that ... but yeah you are right he made those hard rock songs awesome combining some irish melodies with his guitar playing style ... i like both styles blues and hard rock ... but yeah for metal i don;t think he is good at it...i mean he can play but doesn;t give something original...imo...

This album was a bit hard rock orientated by go listen to corridors of power or victims of the future the end of the world solo was flat out metal and then with victims of the future gary was flat out making the metal hair guys in the 80s take notice he was shredding and melting faces i know mine was one of them .
