Here's a good one-Heritage WTI, the hazardous waste incinerator people tried hard to stop in East Liverpool Ohio, is having a waste collection day.Bring your old chemicals, they'll inject them into the air for you.
Love you guys ! Keep up the wonderful work that helps us laugh as we shift the consciousness of sleeping folks. Keep pulling back those covers ! Pachamama sends her love and gratitude, too.
Best of the best reporting. Great exposure of others enjoying graft. This broadcast should be required viewing in every High School. Also the transcript, with pics, required reading. Your production team is notably professional.
The sad reason this is sooooo freakin funny is that it's sooooo freakin TRUE. Great satire. But there is such a tremendous need for those awesome prosthetic souls, are you absolutely sure you can't make more? ;)
I like the Rainforest Action Network, and I like this video except for the hypocrisy. Just think of the reduction in consumption that would result if you didn't buy useless things like ties, shaving, and makeup products anymore. Oh, wait, I forgot, those products aren't useless, you are CEO's of vanity. Sorry about the mix-up.
@sausageeaters - Please send a check or money order for 1 billion dollars to "I Greenwashed Myself" and make sure to specify what favor prosthetic soul you would prefer.
Ok, but I think, as consumers, we all need to acknowledge that WE are part of the problem, as well. These large corporations are in business simply to supply the demands of consumers. That's US. How many "environmentally unfriendly" practices do we "support" each day, just by getting up, getting dressed, taking a bath, turning on our computers, and watching these videos?
@glynnth - Its a complicated question for sure but there is a common myth that "all corporations do is meet demand" as if they are just helpless servants of a misguided public. But its not true, big companies also spend billions to manufacture demand, monopolize markets, gain subsidies, lobby governments etc. The business world has worked very hard to create and spread the "blame the people for corporate wrongdoing" myth. Its about time that corporate america cleaned up more than its image.
@RANVideo I wouldn't disagree with anything you just said, still, I don't think these companies could stay in business, if we all just BOYCOTTED their products. Granted, they could still export, so we need to make it a worldwide movement. Believe me, if I was prez of the US, I'd shut down EVERY polluting business in the country, no excuses accepted!
